Hello everyone, I have such a jeep
I have a question, is it possible to change from diesel to some petrol?
If so, what will fold and what needs to be replaced
What would be the costs, etc.

The 4.0-speed motor is a legend, apparently unpopular. For this he likes lpg.

In addition to the engine, you need to replace some electrics ... e.g. some harnesses for the engine compartment plus a box with relays. I don't mention a motor computer. If the donor had immo, then you need to reschedule the ignition switch .. plus immo .. Diesel has an additional EDC computer made in Bosch ... it is under the sofa. one could add a dashboard .. I do not know how the automatic transmission will fit ... This is not about the electric side because for diesel 3.1 and 4.0 petrol have both the same diagram .. The question is whether the mounting to the engine will be the same .. Diesel 3.1 has two controllers; one under the hood controls, for example, the alternator and the gearbox, and the one under the sofa in the back deals with what is related to diesel .. The 4.0 petrol engine has one computer under the hood and it controls everything related to engine work plus automatic transmission. Still a pump supply tank and fuel lines ..
