Hello, dear group, I have a big problem with this freak and I need help. I like such things, but this is the first time I am dealing with this motor, in addition, the scrap added with the gasket does not help much and the guest at the grinding shop said that it was a huge pile and even with perfect assembly it would not take too long will drive. so I am asking people who have had contact with it for help. I need the number of stages of tightening the torque on each of them and of course the sequence.
Thanks in advance to everyone for their help.

    I have a few more questions: p
1.The bolts in this car are greased with something, can I screw it normally?
    2. Must they be new or can they be reused several times?
3.What torque is to tighten the screws on the edge of the heads?

    1. It usually does not lubricate itself with anything.
    2. I do not have the data of a specific model, but I often come across information that the screws can be used twice - I personally buy new ones for the head, which would not improve my own work.
    3. My fault, I forgot to give the second photo. The description remains. Force depends on bolt diameter.

Thanks for the answer, how the car would belong to me, the screws would be absolutely replaced, but the owner needs to cut the already high costs.
I understand well that after 30 minutes of engine operation I have to wait 3 hours and turn the screws 180 degrees and then tighten them with a torque of 30, improving by 130 degrees?

    Yes.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ equipped with a 3.1 Turbo VM engine, focusing on the tightening torque specifications and sequence for the head bolts. The user seeks guidance on the number of tightening stages, the necessity of using new bolts versus reusing them, and the appropriate torque settings. Responses indicate that the bolts typically do not require lubrication, and while reusing bolts is possible, new ones are recommended for optimal performance. The tightening process involves an initial torque followed by a specific angle adjustment after a brief engine operation period.
