Hello. I recently bought an Octavia I 2003 estate with a factory central lock, but without a remote control, only two normal keys. I would like to add the original remote control (immo and the antenna cable lead if it was not in the installation), I checked with Vag that my 1c0959799A module supports remote controls, but I do not know what numbers I should look for. If someone had links to a page, where I can find the necessary information, knows the answer or would check the pilot number, if he has such a module, I would be very grateful.

Hi, I have the same Octavia model with the same comfort module. Or maybe you managed to solve the problem with adding remotes, because on the Skoda forum they write that it is not possible to add remotes to this module in Octavia, you need to buy remotes with a separate controller? And now I don't know what to do. Best regards.

Hello. I checked with a friend in Skoda, he has the exact same module number and has a remote control with number 1JO 959 753 CT. The question is whether you have an antenna derived from the module. I didn't, but I bought a plug on the back with 50 cm cables cut off and I already have the antenna. I don't have a remote control yet, because I have other things on my mind now. best regards

Hey, how's your progress? I also have such a module and a standard key without a remote control.

Did you program your remote? Could you take a picture of this plug with antenna?

I decided to finish the topic of pilots for my Octavia and probably nothing from what Jeremy Ringers wrote. In my comfort module 1c0959799A, of course, there was no third plug with the antenna on, I dismantled the module, checked which pin is the antenna coming from the 434MHz radio system, I bought the plug only and soldered a piece of wire and went to the guy who checked a few remotes and none of them worked . At Skoda Dealership, they said that it was impossible to attach the pilots alone, you had to replace the driver and a few other things, the cost in the thousands. It seems that if there were no remote controls at the factory, then a flap, and the number of the comfort module itself does not mean much here. It remains to buy universal remote controls with a controller and connect to the cables.

you made me sad. How did you test these remotes? Was 1JO 959 753 CT in them? It is strange that when it is connected using VCDS, there is an option of coding the remote controls in the comfort module.

The guy hooked up with his program, I don't know which one, and he checked several pilots, I also don't know if there was a 1JO 959 753 CT pilot there.
I personally checked the VCDS remote control Hella434MHz008444, the replacements of which are supposedly 1J0 959 753 DA, Hella 5FA 008 548, 1J0 959 753 AH, of course VCDS did not see it.

Hello. I did exactly the same and none of it. I tested it on two efficient Skoda pilots with the same comfort module number. One 1JO 959 753 CT and 1JO 959 753 AG remote control. My conclusion is that the same comfort module is programmed differently for the version with a remote control than for the version without a remote control. If I'm wrong, have someone correct me. I blew it and I will buy something like this soon http://allegro.pl/sterowanie-na-pilot-skoda-felicja-fabia-octavia-i6824977166.html

I likewise bought a car without pilots with a 1C0 959 799A comfort module (skoda octavia combi 1.6SR BFQ engine) and tried to pair the 1K0959753N and 1J0959753CT remotes (this supposedly should work) and nothing. I unscrewed the car under the counter, got to the comfort module, and only 2 of the 3 plugs are connected and no others. I wonder if it was so original and if, for example, replacing it with the 1C0 959 799B module would help to operate the door with a skoda-specific pocket knife.

I also tested with VAG if it can see remotes (without programming), i.e. Measurement Blocks (08) -> channel 007 and nothing - screenshot attached. If I determine something further, I will let you know.

The lack of a third plug is a factory solution, when the car was not equipped with a remote control and probably an alarm. I also had it at home, but I added this plug, where 10 pin is the antenna cable and 7 pin is the antenna cover and I pulled these wires near the driver's post so that there was coverage, but it did not help. I am still waiting for the answer of my colleague who is a specialist in these matters, so as soon as I find out something, I will let you know. Changing the module to No. 1c0959799B is not an option, because it has only two plugs: one from the antenna, which we do not have, and the other from the front door, and the third is missing to control the rear door.

Little Spadate. In addition to adding the antenna to pin 10, you need to give power to pin 13. Let someone check and let me know if it helped.

I connected as described above, but unfortunately I was not able to pair the 1J0959753CT remote control neither by the cable nor by the method of clicking the remote by closing the door ... (according to the website: http://harkan.pl/pilot-kluczyk-vw-golf- 1j0959753ag-vwp1j0ag-set-p-395.html - remote control 1J0959753CT this is equivalent to 1J0959753AG).

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the compatibility of remote controls with the Skoda Octavia 2003 model equipped with the comfort module 1C0 959 799A. Users express challenges in adding remote controls, with some stating that the module may not support remotes unless additional components are installed. Various remote control models are mentioned, including 1J0 959 753 CT and 1J0 959 753 AG, but attempts to program these remotes have largely been unsuccessful. Users suggest that the absence of a third plug for the antenna in the module may prevent remote functionality. Some participants consider alternative solutions, such as using universal remote controls with separate controllers. The conversation highlights the need for specific wiring and programming to enable remote control features in vehicles that were not originally equipped with them.
