So you do not have access to the GUI at all now? And through Telnet, SSH? Does the ping answer?

And is it visible as AP via WiFi?

    [Edit]
Try your buddy yet connect via SSH (via putty, e.g.). Out of curiosity, I've now put OpenWRT on WR841 only v9 and will not let in SSH after the Telnet launch.

And you turned on what you installed? I do not know how now, but when I was still having fun with Luci, after the installation, I had to fire the commands:
    /etc/init.d/uhttpd enable
    /etc/init.d/uhttpd start

And you are sure that the package is called luci-ssl?

You can not fit Luci, the installer throws a message about too little memory available.

So why the videos are shown and it is possible to upload the firmware from what he writes in the data about hardware, all versions of this router are to remember 4MB.

I was able to upload to it other dd-wrt firmware I wanted to change, because in this firmware there is not even a logout button.

It may Gargoyle throw him on him. I do not like the DD-WRT personally either.

I am trying to upload gargoyle, but tp-link does not find the file with the firmware

I changed the name to a shorter one and succeeded. How to embed Polish into this firmware?

It can be downloaded in the System-> Package package with the PL language but there is nowhere in the GUI language changes. There is also Gargoyle-PL by Obsy but WR841Nv11 does not exist, unless I did not find it. And what about a distro from Luci, did you check LEDE? I just fired on WR841Nv9 because I have one at hand and Luci is in this picture.

I do not know how you tried to install it. On this site you have LEDE images (newer project from OpenWRT): https://downloads.lede-project.org/releases/17.01.0/targets/ar71xx/generic/
There are three images for WR841Nv11, try to put one into your box, for sure go back to the manufacturer's software and install LEDE from the Configuration Menu.

I've installed it, it works. All the time I tried to install openwrt luci instead of lede. I just downloaded the image from the link with the software and it works, the problem is solved. Thank you for helping me. 28

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around uploading OpenWRT firmware to the TP-LINK TL-WR841N router, specifically hardware version V11. The user initially faced issues accessing the router's GUI after attempting to upload the firmware via the LuCI interface. Despite being able to ping the router, they could not connect through Telnet or SSH. After some troubleshooting, they managed to log in via SSH and attempted to install the LuCI interface but encountered memory limitations. The conversation included suggestions to try different firmware options like Gargoyle and LEDE, with the user eventually resolving the issue by successfully installing OpenWRT after downloading the correct image.
