Hello. I have such a small problem ... as soon as it rains a little rain ... under the doormat from the driver's side the whole floor is wet ... I have heard from the mechanic that there are often such faults in the Peugeot, that this water somehow flows ... only without sense to look where, because the car is too much to undress ...

some say that from the bottom ... other that from the panorama ... yet another that from the air conditioning system ...

did anyone have such an adventure ???

    my model is peugeot 307sw 1.6 16v 2003.

from the air-conditioning rather not because the floor is not oily as it touches ...
and searching for the error method will consume some penny ...

so ... had such a fault? and if so ... what is the reason?

Get two people in a washcloth, unless you have your own. One person pours a stream through the car, the other in the middle trying to locate which way flies water.

It can fly with door seals, under the shaft, for example, badly glued glass, fuels, where often the outflows of "garbage" from trees clog.
Joints of the body in this area, as well as by sealing electric bundles, cables, and other things passing there through the bulkhead from the cabin to the engine compartment.
It's best to make your own rain and look from where it's flying, only then deeply undress looking for a hole.
There are no tips on the forum of this car? Because on "my" are, and the car is already quite hard worked out by users.

it can not be checked ... from the heater as if it was flying so it would be sticky on the upholstery ... and it is wet. and it is typically wet under the doormat ... and only when it's raining. if it was visible from where it flies, I would not ask :) ... the mechanic said that many peugeots have this way ... hence my question to people who had this adventure ...

and as I wrote, it is not art to pick up a car and look for it by trial ... and the specific advice needed ...

Check where it is coming from, whether drops hang on the wires under the steering wheel, etc.

when you remove the upholstery from the door, there should be under it a foil glued to the door, which prevents the water from pouring in through the glass

it's only a wet wiper ... under the driver's shoes. you can not see where you are going.
it's always wet after rain ... I thought someone had a peugeot and the same problem ...

instead of taking off the car and looking for the reason ...

I have a predecessor, and as I was flying that the wiper was wet, there were drops of water hanging on the wires under the fuse box.

As you can not see anything ... Do not expect that someone accurately tells where the water is coming from.
Water does not stand on the door seals?

unfortunately, we could not find a fault. most likely leaking from the glass or from the panorama ... but I did not undress it.
mechanical breakdowns fall off ... because there are no leaks in the car.

Yes, because who is looking to punish you but how the floor will rot will be ola-god how it happened so you want to come to this or not? Because maybe someone has something like that, they have individual cases, but if you do not want to, you're waiting for a good luck.

SENS IN THAT NOBODY WANTED TO HELP ...

there is no leakage from the radiator, there is no leakage from the air-conditioning system ...

so the roof or glass panorama is left ...

none of the mechanics wants to play cat and mouse ...

so why should I keep fast if nobody can write that he had such situations and where to look for a problem ...

So checked. leakage inside also checked and nowhere has leakage ... so just cut the glass and re-paste ... or panorama is leaking ... and again it is not so wet that in rubber boots .. ehh

    Why stupid answers ???

I guess the finished topic is finished since no one helped.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a water leak issue in a 2003 Peugeot 307 SW 1.6 16v, specifically on the driver's side floor, which becomes wet during rain. Various potential causes are suggested, including faulty door seals, clogged drainage channels, and issues with the panoramic roof or windshield. Users recommend checking the wiper area for debris, ensuring the door's protective foil is intact, and inspecting the drainage systems for blockages. One user eventually identifies that the water was entering through improperly functioning channels, leading to the wet floor condition. The conversation highlights the commonality of this issue in Peugeot vehicles and the challenges in diagnosing the source of the leak without extensive disassembly.
