    Hello,
    Passat B7 2.0TDI 4motion manual transmission 2011.
While driving, the radio turned off for a split second. Later, the whole board started to turn off together with the radio (speedometer, tachometer, etc.). Currently, the radio is dead and the clock board is dead (speedometer, tachometer, mileage etc, nothing displays). All fuses OK. Is this a typical fault with this model? Can someone suggest where the power cables go to these components?
    Best regards.

There is only 6V on the radio power plug (RNS315EU) on both the + and Ub + terminals (with the radio disconnected). Is there any stabilizer on the way? Does the F7 fuse under the hood next to the battery only power the radio or the clocks?
    best regards

I'm just struggling with the same case.

    Unfortunately not yet....
After replacing the stabilizer 3AA 919 041, which is in the left wheel arch, should everything work or is it "programmable"?
    Added after 36 [minutes]:
Does anyone have a list of 3AA 919 041 pins? After replacing it, the voltage on the radio still flows from 2.3 to about 6V. After disconnecting the clocks and radio, it floats the same. Is anything else powered from this stabilizer? I put in a used one and I don't know if it is in working order ... A new one costs a fortune so I would like to be sure before I buy a new one ...
    best regards

Can you take a picture of this stabilizer?

I decided that from the box in the engine compartment, there is a plus to the cabin, which powers the radio and clocks, and it leaves, but does not reach the cabin.

Plus it should be constant, no ignition.

Photo in the attachment. The cable for the radio goes na 100% from this module. The module is mounted in the left front wheel arch. Passat B7 2.0TDI 4motion - No power to the board and the radio

    I didn't know about it.

The wheel arch must be removed to see this module?

Yes, you unscrew the plastic above the wheel and the module sits there.

    Defect found.

Wires to the module crushed against the chassis members and rotten.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 2011 Volkswagen Passat B7 2.0TDI 4motion experiencing electrical issues, specifically a loss of power to the radio (RNS315EU) and dashboard components, including the speedometer and tachometer. The user reports that the radio briefly turned off while driving, followed by a complete failure of the dashboard display. Despite checking all fuses, the radio power plug only shows 6V. Suggestions include replacing the stabilizer (part number 3AA 919 041) located in the left wheel arch, as it may be responsible for the power supply to these components. Further investigation revealed that wires leading to the stabilizer were damaged, indicating a potential cause of the power loss.
