Hello, I'm fresh so I'll start by introducing myself.
My name is Bartek and I have a problem ... :)
1 problem is lagoon II 1.8 from 2001 and the second problem is that the engine went out while driving and does not want to start ... after inserting the card into the slot all the lights collapse as if properly started. The engine turns but does not start. The red one will not go out but will be lit steadily. At first, it only goes out for a split second. I would add that gas also doesn't work. Nothing appears on the button and doesn't respond to clicks. It happened after starting the car from gas (there was no gas so it was removed from gas). After firing the car drove around 10KM and went out while driving. I poured 10L of fuel, I even added oil because it was low but did not fire ... the line and the hall.
What could be the reason? I saw the battery because I thought it would reset, but it didn't help .... aaa and all the fuses.

If you ran out of gas, you burned the pump.

If I burned a pump, it wouldn't be heard.

when the immo diode shines, there is probably a problem with the power supply to the engine control unit
check fuses and these relays next to the battery

You can do nothing without diagnostics, in my opinion a coincidence. There was a lot about Renault and cards but the basis is diagnostics.

Well, good ... progress ... unfortunately I didn't check the computer errors but I noticed that the fuse was scratched under the hood ... 30A fuse which is in position No. 3. Laguna II 1.8 16v 2001 Model: Persistent Red Diode, Engine Failure, and Non-Responsive Gas After replacing the aforementioned fuse, the immo works and adds, does not light up steadily, the gas lights also lit up, but until you press "start". The fuse burns and the next and another ... after inserting the wire instead of the fuse, the car fires but goes out probably flooded ... but I do not want to fire on the wire because I'm afraid that something will burn ... because that's why the fuse is burning because there is something not so ... just what ??? I checked cubes, cables ...

Of the most power-consuming receivers on this fuse will be lambda probe heaters. Try to unpin them.

    Pzdr!

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 2001 Renault Laguna II 1.8 16v experiencing engine failure after running out of gas. The user reports that the engine turns over but does not start, with a persistent red diode indicating an issue. Responses suggest potential causes, including a burnt fuel pump and electrical issues related to the engine control unit. The user discovers a blown 30A fuse, which, when replaced, allows the immobilizer to function but leads to further fuse burning when attempting to start the engine. Suggestions include checking the lambda probe heaters and performing diagnostics to identify the root cause. Ultimately, the user confirms that the fuel pump was indeed burnt out.
