Laguna III 2007 petrol 2.0 16V M4R engine (BT0F06). After inserting the card I cannot start the car. As the car was operational, immediately after inserting the card you could hear the characteristic buzzing (fuel), now there is silence. The display shows no fault. Fuses in the engine compartment OK. What could be the reason?

Damaged card or card reader in the car. Another way to call it may be a damaged transponder and the card responsible for turning on the power. You must obtain information from an authorized service center, and you may need to order such a card under chassis number. This is not repairable on a regular website. Do you have a backup?

I suggest you do the diagnostics, otherwise it's just a shag. Do you have one card? Is the steering lock even slowing down?

Maybe I described it wrong, i.e. the start works, but the car does not start. Does not give fuel. As I wrote earlier, after inserting the card should be heard how the pump feeds fuel, and here is silence. Where is the fuel pump located?

Now I understand . The fuel pump is in the fuel tank. Most likely there is damage in the fuel supply system, i.e. there is something that the pump control or the pump itself is damaged. The pump is activated by a relay and after pumping the appropriate pressure it turns itself off as the engine starts, then it works all the time. Suggestion you need to get to the electrical connector on the fuel tank and check if electrical power is supplied to the pump if it is damaged pump is thinking of a gasoline engine of course. Under the back seat is a window through which you can get there or in the trunk depending on the model

Cool epistles. I suggest doing extended diagnostics. Including reading not only errors.

Thank you for the hint. I will try to disassemble it somehow or plug it into the beam with a meter and let me know. I still have questions:

    1. Is this element visible in the picture somehow disassembled to get deeper? (it's about the cover in which the bundle enters).
    2. If it turns out that the pump is actually damaged, can it be removed from the sofa side, or should the tank be removed?
    3. Is the voltage relay in the fuse box (those with higher values, because there is a module with fuses above the battery).

Instead of undressing, put your hand and spin the starter. With the pump running, you can feel the vibration and the tank will remain tight. Under the plastic cover you will find the pump plug.

    Hello.
The pump is in the tank. Check if you don't have too much pressure on the strip. the regulator often rains, it is at the pump. in general, you still have to replace the entire pump. If the sensor on the strip shows too high a value then the pump will not work. So first clip and diagnostics. Because the pump is not cheap. And you exchange and there will be a flap.

I moved a bunch of cables (not yet disassembled the cover under the rear seat) and the pump started working - the car starts. I will try to get inside, only this cover with the seal somehow blocky does not want to lift / unscrew ...

    Added after 29 [minutes]:

The reason is the lack of contact - one input burned in the plug. Thank you all for your interest - I close the topic.
