Hello, I have a question. For about two weeks, a darker streak across the width of the screen has appeared on the TV screen (not completely black stripe, but the screen is darker in this place), moreover, I noticed that this streak is getting bigger. Do you have any ideas what it might be ??? After talking with a friend who has some idea about the equipment, it turned out that it may be a damaged matrix driver. I will add tv is about 4 years old.

In my opinion, the led backlight may be damaged.

The photo explains everything, there is something under the matrix and not everything shines:

Ok gentlemen, as I am completely green in this topic, hint if, for example, I will get such a part on the Allegro? I upload a photo of the model specifically. Dark Streak Expanding on Samsung UE40F6400AW TV Screen: Possible Damaged Matrix Driver?

If you are sure that the strips are damaged, look for functional strips after the markings that are printed on them.

Only that the author of the topic wrote that it is completely green, so if you start repairing the backlight, the TV may end up on the scratch, and at best on Allegro among the damaged ones. I would advise the service.

Since he managed to disassemble the matrix without damaging it (glass), he should be able to replace the strips, I think. :)

Miechu, show me where the author wrote that he dismantled the matrix? Somehow I can't see. But maybe I don't know about something?

    Photo in post # 5.
    Edit:

Oh, yeah. Only now did I notice that the photo is not the author of the topic.
In that case, I agree with you - the only reasonable option is to put the TV on service.

    Sorry for the confusion.
