Good day. I am asking for advice from people who are familiar with the topic of supplying the construction site. The more I read, the less I know. In April I start building a house. I have already had a box and an outdoor connection since February 2016. I got the technical data card and the schedule for the implementation of the facility connection. By August 1, 2017, I am ready to supply the construction site or the target building. I wonder, however, why the energy supplier forces customers to choose "construction current" which, as we know, is much more expensive and with protracted construction costs are really high.

I found information that G tariffs are for private individuals and C tariffs (which includes construction current) are for business customers / companies. Why do I need a C tariff as a private individual?
Is there any way out to avoid building current and to apply for the target current connection in the G tariff right away?

    Hello

The assumption of the reigning legislators graciously to us was that during construction, electricity is always taken by a construction company and is used for business operations. Therefore, until the official completion of construction, electricity is supplied in tariff C. When construction is officially notified as a completed contract, it will be concluded again (or annexed) and tariff G will be introduced.

Higher fees can be avoided by not declaring that electricity is delivered to the construction site, but to a private plot, but it is risky and not always successful. On the other hand, you can significantly reduce the price of electricity, even construction, by signing a contract with another supplier - there are many companies of this type, starting with distributors from other areas (e.g. when you are subject to Tauron, contact Enea), through mobile operators (e.g. Plus ), ending with specialized energy sellers (e.g. Energy for companies, Duon, etc.). When you expect construction to be completed within a certain time, you sign a contract for about as long with the supplier who offers the lowest price, in the C tariff. The difference instead of 50% more expensive G to C will drop to around 10%, all in accordance with the regulations.

    Regards

The price of electricity construction is more expensive to chase the investor and completed the construction in the shortest possible time. It's so humorous but it is definitely dictated by technical reasons.
