Yes, the first Magnat photo subwoofer, the second photo amplifier, I will add that two columns are connected to the Altus 75 receiver and I wanted to add a subwoofer

In my life I have not seen a subwoofer with a frequency range of 26 - 25,000 Hz.

I have to worry you, this is not a subwoofer, it's a normal three-way speaker ;-) , connect it like any column :-)

This is a passive subwoofer. It is connected to the amplifier (instead of speakers) where the input is written. Speakers (satellites) are connected where written output. This is a weakness. It is better to invest in an active subwoofer (with its own amplifier).

    I'll connect to the thread.
    I bought a similar 2 + 1 Magnat Tristar II set cheaply
The so-called. "subwoofer" will play after connecting the satellites.
If the satellites are not connected then this "subwoofer" does not play.
    So, as Leonov writes, it's really a two-way / three-way speaker.
Without satellites the circuit is open and the speaker is "dead".
If I would like to use this speaker as a subwoofer without satellites in a receiver with a separate subwoofer output, I should probably bridge the outputs on it.
    And now the questions:
    1. Is the bridge enough or give a resistor, e.g. 8 ohms, how do satellites have? If so ordinary is enough?
    2. Can I bridge the input / in of this speaker (the output to the subwoofer on the receiver is one and the input speaker has two Left and Right). The loudspeaker in this equipment is two-sound.

I will advise you regarding the quality of the equipment:
The receiver is connected to a computer via a digital input and is mainly about surround sound in games.
Central and fronts are already playing, now I wanted to use this set as a subwoofer and satellites to the rear.

    Made without modifications.
It was enough to remove the back wall and see how it can be connected without satellites.
The game is fun - you can close.

It is a pity because this one also sounds good for the price :)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting a passive subwoofer to a Pioneer VSX-D710S receiver. The original poster mistakenly identified their Magnat speaker as a subwoofer, which was clarified by other users who noted it is a three-way speaker. They advised that the speaker should be connected like any standard speaker, and suggested investing in an active subwoofer for better performance. Further inquiries about bridging connections and using the speaker without satellites were raised, but ultimately, the original poster decided to change their subwoofer setup.
