I warmly welcome. I have had a little problem with the touchpad on my laptop since yesterday.
When I touch the touchpad, the laptop screen automatically turns off, pressing any key, the screen turns on again.
The mouse is connected to a laptop via USB and works fine. The situation is quite unusual, because the touchpad only turns off the matrices in the laptop, and the laptop works normally.

I updated the drivers in the touchpad and looked for similar problems on the Internet, unfortunately I did not find anything similar.

I will be grateful for any help on this topic.

    greetings

In my case, the problem is the touchpad. I can press the case around the touchpad and nothing happens. I touch the touchpad anywhere, the screen turns off.

I would check it on another system - e.g. linux live cd.

Good idea with this Live CD, and only the "spot" of damage will be credible.
