    Hello.
I have a very big problem. When I opened a program in the laptop, the mouse cursor hung. He was visible. After logging out and logging in, the cursor disappeared for good. The laptop is an Acer Aspire 5100.
I checked in the device manager, everything is there. The cursor just disappeared and I can not use it.
    Please help.
    greetings

Thanks, I'll check these three ways right away. I tried emergency mode via settings, but unfortunately I do not have a Windows tile.

That's how it controls right now ;)

Unfortunately, there is also no cursor in safe mode :(

    Two more things:
    - connect an external USB mouse
    - run the bootable Linux LiveCD system

Thanks, I'll check how I'll be at home :)

If the cursor appears after attaching the USB mouse, then the touchpad has broken, and if not, is the system failing?

Exactly, we're trying to find the reason.

I do not believe :D all you had to do was press the Fn + f7 key combination to show the cursor ... more than a week I was tired of Tab and arrows, and here is something like that :D
Thanks for your willingness, and I apologize for turning my head away :D

    subject to be closed :)
