    Hello

As I am finishing the renovation, I decided to change the intercom. To be honest, I do not know anything about it, so I bought it in the store that my wife liked. And of course, I have no idea how to connect it.
The intercom that I had earlier is connected to 6 cables (green, blue, red and three white) but only two are soldered ... (green and blue)
The previous intercom was probably called the UNIFON TCL Connecting Cyfral Smart 5P Uniphone: Step-by-Step Guide for Replacing Old UNIFON TCL Intercom
    The connection looked like this:

Everything works as it should. It rings, you hear it upstairs, it opens ...

I bought a CYFRAL Smart 5P, and how to connect it? Is he even suitable for my "installation"?

I do not have photos of the panel at the front door, but it is the most ordinary panel of the most ordinary, something of this type Connecting Cyfral Smart 5P Uniphone: Step-by-Step Guide for Replacing Old UNIFON TCL Intercom

Hello, unfortunately this one will not fit, you need to look for a digital uniphone, two-wire connection.

that's perfect :) thank you for the quick replies. Uniphone ordered. And so for the future when it comes. I'll connect the blue and green cables. Which entrance? ie which is responsible for the microphone and which for the voice?

There is only "+" and "-" and nothing else needs to interest you - green and blue veins.

A single cable is not responsible for anything, only both of them are responsible for everything, i.e. for calling (bell), for conducting a conversation and finally for opening the door.

Only those who installed the intercom system know about it. However, it is best to check with a meter where the plus and minus are. The installer should choose the "warm" color as the plus and the "cold" color as the minus. For you, he should choose orange as a plus and blue as a minus. However, he did not. Good thing he didn't pick two whites. If you mix up the cables, nothing bad should happen. The uniphone will simply not work.

That's cool. I was only worried if it would burn it if I mistake + with -. But if not then no problem :) when he comes it will all be cleared up.

From what you can see, the plus is on the blue cable. Very unusual, but well, that's what the installer decided.

Problem solved. As I looked at the old intercom ... Under the rust, there was a sign .. The green was plus, the blue was minus. The intercom plays and beeps, I emphasized the potentiometer on the voice and there is a guitar. Thanks for advice. I always recorded a bit of knowledge :) greetings

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around replacing an old UNIFON TCL intercom with a CYFRAL Smart 5P model. The user initially inquired about compatibility and connection methods, revealing that the old intercom was connected using six cables, with only two (green and blue) soldered. Responses indicated that the CYFRAL Smart 5P is not suitable for the existing installation, which requires a digital uniphone with a two-wire connection. The user later found a compatible model and confirmed that the green cable is the positive (+) and the blue cable is the negative (-). The installation process was clarified, emphasizing that both cables are essential for the intercom's functionality, including ringing, conversation, and door opening. The user successfully connected the new intercom after identifying the correct wiring.
