The battery in my office has run out. After plugging in the charger, it charges a few seconds and stops. It happened suddenly, minute by minute. Yesterday I charged it with a 2A charger from the S7 Edge for a while, and nothing happened to it before that. Could the battery be damaged by charging with this charger?

    No.
And have you tried to load through this connector from the side?
Does the data transfer to the computer work?

I don't have a magnetic cable. The reaction is the same when connected to a computer.

Try on some relatively new cable, sometimes it helps. You probably have the connector already made (unless damaged, broken, etc.).

    So the port died. Exchange.
In my opinion, Sony makes some of the worse USB ports. I changed my wife's tablet after about a year of use. On the phone after less than a year.

I connected a new cable. Once it started charging from 1% and then it stopped. After reconnecting it started from 77% and it charges. When I run it, Android pops up, optimizing the app. Then the LED flashes that the battery is finished and is not charging it. Second battery inserted, same reaction.
