HTC One M8 Rear Camera Not Detected, Only Front Camera Accessible, Flashlight Issue

Hello, I have m8 with a strange problem. The rear camera is not detected at all by the phone. When I start the Camera application, the only option to take a photo is the front camera, it is not possible to switch to the back. I downloaded another photo-taking application and the problem is similar to that you can switch to the back but only the upper camera works (image turned upside down and in shades of gray). Also the lamp does not work, the flashlight application does not come on. Hard reset done, to no avail. I took the phone down for the first part because I thought maybe the tape from the camera was getting hot somewhere but the problem still occurs. I wanted to order a new camera but I started to wonder if it was the fault of the broken camera.
Has anyone ever encountered such a problem?

This is probably not the fault of the camera itself, but what is damaged is hard to say. There may be a controller on the motherboard, the upper board or a tape connecting both boards, and of course the camera itself. Without a set of these parts and undercoating one after the other you will not get what it fell.

I now have an m9 prime camera and I can say with a clear conscience that the m8 is not growing to heel, for that I care about repairing and returning to the m8. I would like to exclude some options and buy parts, possibly buy some m8 with a broken screen and rearrange the components and here a question, I found the m8 which has a problem with the display (colored stripes, flickering), would such a donor for PLN 100 be suitable for a transplant?

Maybe it would be good but you will not be 100% sure that what the substitution is just right.
