I have already prepared a climate installation in the living room. The flat has 55 sq m (living room 19 sq m open to the corridor approx. 5 sq m, next to it a small semi-open kitchen half-covered from the living room by a wall of approx. 6 sq m, closed separately from the corridor 5 sq m bathroom and two rooms 9 and 10 sq m. The flat is on the 4th (last ) floor in a 50-year block and in the heat in 2015, the temperature in the apartment reached 30 degrees :D
    Generally, the climate has assumptions:
    - is to cool the living room and the rooms, if I open the door, will only lower it a few degrees, so 3.5kW is enough for me
    - it will work rather in greater heat and occasionally when at the end of winter the heaters turn off and in the apartment cold (heating function)
    - the air conditioner will be on a single-phase installation, the main fuse 25A in the apartment, new installation inside (separate cable and C-16 for the terminal) but the block has old aluminum wires :D in addition, the renovation is already covered with a single-phase induction hob (gas burnt out), dishwasher washing machine, etc. therefore I will not invest in a mega strong and power-consuming device
    - I install the climate under a window in an old-fashioned cooperative on the basis of "we will not give you your consent, and if there are no denunciations, we will not download you", so I do not want to invest, e.g. PLN because there is some risk of ordering the removal of air conditioning by the building inspector, although I believe that small, because you generally don't hear that in blocks so often they have to remove hanged installations without permission
    - the climate is to lower the temperature to "looser" but I do not like the fridge in the apartment

That's why I like analyzing different things
LG Standard Plus P12EN, the alleged 10-year warranty for the compressor suggests that the manufacturer is making good equipment.
The downside is the price - around PLN 2,110

For comparison, I found Kasai KED-12KTA, prices on the net 1330 and also class A ++, 3.5 kW, so similar parameters. At LG, I like the display of current power consumption.

Is it worth paying extra to LG?
I would like the device to work for 5-8 years at least. On the other hand, I do not want to invest too much because I have the prospect of working abroad maybe this year so I am asking for an opinion, is it worth paying extra to LG?

The company that made the installation for me, in turn, recommended Gree and they also often install. Is it true, what they write in the net that it is a good company, but Chinese and it is not known how durable it was against a certain LG?

I know that the installation for e.g. LG warranty must be done by an authorized service but it is cheaper for me that the installation and connection will be done for me by a company from Klima, and I buy equipment via the net without installation. In Warsaw, I save a few hundred compared to the climate + installation offers, so I prefer to do the cleaning and maintenance service "without warranty".

Pardon me, LG Standard Plus P12EN for PLN 2110? And who will mount it for you? Because so much the same device can cost, although quite enough, but it is possible that I overpaid PLN 200, and this is still the price of NET. I installed in July, for the whole thing, together with the assembly, I worked out 3430 PLN GROSS.

If you have any specific questions about this climate, please say, I am happy to answer because I have and I use, in short, it cools, warms, quite quiet, although the speed changes are a little bit off, the monotonous sound would get used to, and this faster works slower once, at least that's how I describe it.

Why did you choose this LG model when they are cheaper with similar power on the market?
I didn't have air conditioning at home before, so the second question may sound strange: is the indoor unit or external cause, apart from noise, some perceptible wall vibrations?
Is the outdoor unit noisy - assuming that the climate is not at full speed, then does it spend less decibels than those declared in the tables and in a very quiet neighborhood (view of the park, zero noise of cars or trams) can it be bothersome for the nearest windows?
For me, there were different variants, but the placement was best half a meter next to the dining table - as far as I know, this model throws air up far inside the room, so rather for food just before-under the climate it won't fly?

On the Internet - price search engines - the device is from approx. PLN 2110 gross with shipping in Poland. Their low price is the effect of large discounts at LG due to the number of orders. Of course, it's the price of the air-conditioning itself, I paid a few hundred for installation in the screed and flush-mounted (I did a complete general renovation with the demolition of the walls and replacement of everything that in the 50-year block meant total outrage and all complaints from neighbors to the police, etc. :D I collected papers for everything for over a year, but I don't officially agree to the climate under the window).
Now a few more hundred will go to connect to the prepared installation but I still calculate cheaper (less than 3,000 gross) than if I chose a company in Warsaw that would do everything more expensive (and in addition none wanted to negotiate anything, I may have typical 5 mb but the work was a lot because these 5 m are coming from the living room diagonally in the spout to the window under the kitchen, mega heavy and loud walls were pierced, water drainage through a window other than the outside unit from the other side of the apartment behind the balcony to the gardens, because I don't want to expose any neighbors and the main risk is that someone will maliciously report "for aesthetics").

Well, in turn, I decided that it is worth paying extra, it probably has a few functions more than something they offered me with Gree, except that this is a brand and a 10-year warranty on this compressor, although I know that sooner the electronics will fall, that's how it is and I won't do anything about it. After all, I do not regret that I bought then, although the fact, maybe it would be cheaper to buy a climate once and mount two than everything at once.

Nothing snaps, I mounted centrally on the wall, the tubes are nicely hidden behind such a plastic cover aesthetically, the outdoor unit cannot be heard inside, the fan can be heard practically only outside, it is not a drone or anything like that. For this is the night mode, which apparently mutes the outdoor unit, although I have not tested it, but I believe that it works, I do not feel the need to use.

This model has top-bottom autoswing, no sides, it is higher, premium or prestige, somehow. Generally, I plan to move this unit to a second apartment, in which I am less often and buy a higher model, and install it to the wall so that it is not visible.

What is this agreement, cooperatives have a nice, simple one-way letter, a week of waiting around, answer: "Ok, but up to 45dB outdoor unit and within the balcony, as neighbors will screech you do volume testing, as it is less than 45dB it's a stick in the eye neighbors. "

I have an indoor unit mounted more or less in the middle of a longer wall in the living room, centrally straight from the door to the kitchen, so it works there as well, although of course the temperature in the kitchen is a few * C higher than in the living room.

For me, the pipe protrudes from the balcony, drips onto the lawn from the second floor, I haven't heard a word from the neighbors about air conditioning.

The dehumidifying function is .. strange for me, I understand that it maintains the temperature that was, while drying the room, it works so that it cools, as the temperature is less by more than 2 degrees from what was turned off , completely and then turns on when the temperature rises, a bit strange, because the inverter motor should probably slow down, not turn off, and sometimes the shutter after turning off does not close, which is a bit annoying, I will ask about it during the review. Inspections according to the guarantee I have to do every six months, but I do not listen and I will do it every year, we will see how it will be, but I consider it a bit of a phishing.

I hope that I described this device to you a bit, how something else is ... ask. ;)

I heard something that is no guarantee, if the hologram on the air conditioning is not Polish, although I do not even know how I got it, but it was installed by a good company and the air conditioning is taken from winekry, or something like that, it is an air conditioning distributor in Poland.

Even if you would like to read more 'me' about this LG air conditioning, enter the model number and my nickname in Google, you will find what I think. ;)

Set the airflow to a certain level. At the moment you probably have a "car" and hence these changes in the level of "winding"

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around selecting an air conditioner for a living room setup, specifically comparing the LG P12EN, Kasai KED-12KTA, and Gree models. The user has a 55 sq m flat with a living room of 19 sq m and experiences high temperatures during summer. The LG P12EN is noted for its cooling and heating capabilities, quiet operation, and a 10-year warranty on the compressor.
