    Hello

I need to have open ports to the server on Linux, the PLAY network blocks all ports. I got a hint from the service office that you can get around it.

    I quote the correspondence:

    "Port blocking

I would like to inform you that all our incoming ports are blocked in our mobile services due to network security. This is due to the Play security policy, which aims to protect users of DATA numbers against undesirable data transfer resulting from calls originating from the WEB network. The Regulations contain the following record:

    § 8. Scope of Services

    1. As part of the subscription fee, the Subscriber receives: access to the Internet about the speed and data transmission limit specified in the Price List from his Device and to his Device (outgoing and incoming data sent by them)

It is not possible to create a service server on the Play network services. This means that the router can not provide ports for incoming traffic. To obtain such use on our SIM cards it is necessary to use an additional, external proxy server in the connection. In this case, the service would connect via virtual network (VPN) to an external server and communication would be like from the client service (relative to Play network devices). Only this proxy server, through the VPN tunnel, would serve access to the service from external queries. There are free brokerage services in the network traffic, which can be successfully and privacyally used for such applications. "

Can anyone help me which VPN server to choose and where to set it all?

Play denies itself. If closing ports is to protect the transfer, but recommend a VPN that this protection removes ;-)

Free VPNs that I know have either speed limit or / and amount of data, or no fixed IP address. It is used most often to circumvent territorial restrictions - you will not see the "funny video" on the web from the German IP address. Fixed IP address plus no transfer restrictions is a lobe service. Probably a dozen or so PLN per month.
For a similar price you will get a basic VPS - virtual server. In this you will get a fixed address, fast link, buckup of your server.
