Because the mains-rechargeable battery means it is charged from the mains, and can only be used when disconnected from the mains, which, after frequent use, will be suitable for returning to a complaint or to the trash if it exceeds the warranty period a little.
I had a few shavers; Braun (model I do not remember), Philips 6890 and currently Philips 860/16. All were networked battery operated and operated on both mains and battery power. When the battery ran out and you had to shave quickly, I connected to the mains and the shaver was full power. Even the manual says that you can use the shaver both from the mains and the battery, here is a quote from the operating instructions p. 108 at the top in the PDF attachment: "
Note: The shaver can also work on mains power. Just plug it into an electrical outlet. "

My first Philips was the most expensive model, the current cost PLN 270, so at most the average price range. I would say that this new shaver is also shaving
well as the previous one, maybe even better. Facial hair is removed quickly and properly without skin irritation, the shaver is also lighter and quieter than the 6890 model.
I would have a shaver with moving heads to shave my face or head. They adjust to the curvature of the face / head and thus the goal is more effective.
Shaver with foil is much louder and vibrates during work. The most expensive Philips models are about 1,600 zlotys, I do not consider spending such money unfounded.
These shavers have several gadgets (speed control, display of the remaining shaving time, etc.), completely useless for me.
