Hello, MAN TGX 18.440 2008, the ebs5 system, when braking (driving with the tractor and with the semi-trailer too) pulls strongly to the left, the left front wheel takes too much, Discs ok, pads too, calipers too, pads wear evenly, errors in There are no systems, I think to measure the pressure in the actuators, but I do not know what it should be, maybe someone, so what may be the reason.

Since you are sure of the caliper, I think that the brake cylinder itself is defective or the EBS modulator.
In pneumatic brake systems, the air pressure is standardized and amounts to 0.8 MPa. However, I think that the modulators, depending on the vehicle load, regulate the braking force, thus also the pressure going to the actuator. If I am wrong, somebody correct me ;) .

Remove the right-hand actuator and check that it is working properly. Sometimes the spring breaks in the actuator and the spindle does not extend all the way.

ok.I will check this right cylinder when it comes back from the route, I will also measure the pressures in the right and left cylinders (for comparison)

Most of the time, the actuator blew out inside. I suggest replacing it.

Or maybe it's right that does not inhibit? Better go inline skates and check the brakes before you start fumbling with the wrong wheel. On the other hand, if it wears the pads evenly, it may be the reason for the geometry, i.e. more play and it loses its geometry during braking.

ok.I will ride the rollers and then measure the pressure in the cylinders, the driver's report shows that the left one brakes too much, because when it rides in the rain, it blocks it and the ABS releases the wheel, and in the right one it does not happen, as if the air pressure in the the left actuator in relation to the right one, maybe it is the abs valve near the wheel, but the error is not burning

First, let him learn to drive. Wet and wet - it can be different. I also heard such reports of drivers from me. When I did the investigation, it turned out that the cars are ok, only one driver wanted the bus to stop like a passenger car and in the other he was right because the tires were some dirty, they did not stick to the asphalt in the wet. If one wheel does not brake, especially at the front, it will turn the steering wheel even with light braking.
Check the bearings in the wheels, maybe one has play and the wheel speed sensor reads the speed incorrectly and hence the ebs interfere with braking, although it should not.

The driver is right, I drove myself and even when he brakes the tractor lightly, it pulls to the left, the bearings are checked for play, there is no

And this is where I would start. If the braking turns out to be equal, the wheel spacer to the right side and the road test.

What about the back? It occurred to me that the horse is short and if one you is not braking, it can pull off quite a bit ...

So the cause is in the right wheel. The roller test will not hurt. Regarding the response of the ABS system; if there was something wrong with it, it would definitely show an error on the desktop.

As colleagues write, the right wheel probably does not brake practically.

To check the yokes of the springs and their front bushings, possibly the wishbone bushings, if it's a "hovercraft"

It turned out that the EBS 01056 error was periodically lit, which theoretically has nothing to do with the front axle - because it is an error of the trailer's control valve, but apparently it had an impact, because in the end this error turned on permanently and ended up replacing the valve controlling the brakes of the trailer, the error went out and the tractor's front axle started braking normally.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a braking issue with a MAN TGX 18.440 (2008) equipped with an EBS5 system, where the vehicle pulls strongly to the left during braking. The user has confirmed that the brake discs, pads, and calipers are in good condition, and no system errors are present. Suggestions include checking the right actuator for proper function, as a malfunction could lead to uneven braking. Other potential causes discussed include the geometry of the braking system, wheel bearings, and the ABS system. Ultimately, it was discovered that an EBS error related to the trailer's control valve was affecting the braking performance, which was resolved by replacing the valve, restoring normal braking on the front axle.
