    Write maybe what phone is going on? To get rid of pattern lock just need a hardreset or upload new software.

    The case is not as simple as you think. You will not find one method that works on all phones. It all depends on the type of processor, operating system and many other factors. What works in one phone does not have to work in another.

    It's not even about launching debugging. If you have a pattern or password in your phone, even if debugging is enabled, nothing will be done without confirmation of the connection (the phone will be in offline adb mode). Yet another fairy tale is from Windows Phone ..
    And as a colleague wrote above, every phone is made differently. There is a different way on Samsung and different on HTC, Huawei, LG, Sony, Alcatele etc. The software version also matters because it may be that one phone model needs to be done in several different ways.
