    Hello,

does anyone of you know where you can find technical support (new firmware updates) for this router (you can not see it on the D-Link website)?

Personally, I do not think about downloading updates from unreliable torrent or hamster sources. We only download updates from the manufacturer's website.

I agree - the problem is that the manufacturer (D-Link) does not have this model - my uncle Google also does not tell me much about this topic, so I count on the electrodes ;) maybe someone has this router and somehow managed to get the firmware update

And what purpose do you want to do this and how do you know that FW is out of date? This DWR-960 comes from Plus and the operator probably will give an update if it appears. D-Link DWR-966 and DWR-960 are not offered for sale in Poland, there is no D-Link Polska support. DWR-960 is such a depleted version of DWR-966.

    Thanks for the info.

I wanted to update the firmware because the router does not work correctly, it shows the SNIR value at 45464566 dBm, and the link speed test shows less than 1 Mbps dowlnoad and upload. Another LTE modem connected to the same antenna (Huawei B315) shows the SNIR value at level 8 and the link speed test is 30-40 Mbps. I wrote to Plus in this regard that the router is probably damaged and recommended to return to warranty service ....

There are more problems, eg you can not change the Administrator's password
(error message is completely meaningless: Please check the settings again !!
and: Please enter IP address '0.0.0.0' to allow access to the device from any IP address.)

    Everything about.

I think that such an error is enough motivation to look for a new WF.

I was looking for FW on D-Link websites other than PL, there is nothing there.

I filed a complaint with D-Link, I described the problem, I sent the device. They sent new ones from a warehouse in the UK. I am curious if it will work correctly ;)

Medex, in general, how do you see this router? The contract ends up in the plus and I am just wondering about this model (mainly due to 300mb)

Since I received the new equipment after the complaint, I have not yet had the opportunity to test it for good.

In general, what has struck me in the eyes of the Huawei B315 is the inability to add descriptions when port forwarding, which in the case of a large number of rules can be troublesome.

I will let you know how to fire up the equipment permanently and will work better in terms of catching the LTE signal.

I am waiting impatiently, because they want to push me in the plus :)

This is unfortunately a worse router than the one offered earlier in Plus DWR-966 but the only stationary from LTE-A. The cost in a 24x25,50 subscription or 612 PLN is not adequate to its potential, worth from PLN 300-400. For PLN 400-600, you can buy Huawei B618, B525 or E5186. Well, do not count on 300Mb / s in Plus. This is a theory and you would have to use the LTE2600 + LTE1800 aggregation, ie be within the LTE2600Plusa and LTE1800Aero2 network (both on the same BTS). Plus it has a trace amount of LTE2600 BTSs operating.

This router will work in T-mobile. On the plus side, I only take the subscription and equipment, and the plus card will fly to B315.

The prolongation of the Plus contract is best negotiated with DUK after termination, and then the equipment is owned and paid for. Alternatively, the SIM itself, eg 40GB for PLN 19.99. .

That's what I've done for years, D gave me 70gb + unlimited LTE for 35 PLN and this dlinka for 49 PLN. I know that it was possible to draw more, for example, 40 gb for 25 PLN and installment for this dlinka 3 PLN / month. Only that I often have some strange lte failures and I prefer to have 70gb if necessary.

Offer with this D-Link for PLN 49 good, worth PLN 500. If you were dissatisfied with it, it's Allegro and you can buy the Huawei mentioned above for that kind of money.

We will see, I will definitely let you know, because there is not much information about this equipment on the net. Although I do not have any big expectations about him :)

    Hello,

Many thanks for the new firmware. Pytanko where can it be obtained (so for the future)?

Returning to the previous discussion about the DWR-960 router and problems with the parameter SINR ..
As I wrote, I sent a router for a complaint, they sent a new one.
Only on Saturday I had time to install it, I connected the 1800 MHz antenna and what turned out:

    1. On automatic WAN connection (apn: Internet and access number * 99 * ...) theoretically works correctly (SINR shows on level 10)

    2. I use public IP, which requires changing apn and setting the connection manually, and here again it starts to be interesting because for about 4 hours after starting the router keeps the signal correctly and then there is a return to the history from which I started this topic, that is some nonsense in the field SINR ...

can any of you have any ideas where to look for causes and solutions?

Did you read what you wrote? The measure of how the internet works is speed in the evening and on holidays, that is at internet rush hour. Apart from them, it does not matter. You're probably using Urine's urine, so it's normal. This worst mobile operator has not modernized the network properly for a long time and the BTSs are clogged and overloaded to the max. Good mobile internet 50Mb / s during peak hours and 200Mb / s at night. In Plus, most locations are unattainable.
