    Hello,
I had a problem with the Samsung S5610 phone, it turned off by itself. I decided to change his software, the previous one was branded to orange and the phone itself worked in Plus so it did not have a simlock. After uploading the software (unbranded), the phone works, but not in the plus network. When I insert the plus card, there is a magnifying glass instead of the icon with the antenna and range lines. When I insert a sim card, eg Play, everything works normally.
    Uploaded soft - S5610XXLF4_XEO - 02.2013
I also entered the code to download the simlock, which resulted in resetting the IMEI, but it did nothing. Anyway, I was typing a different code to check if the simlock is on and the SimLock position was off.

Anyone have any idea what to do to make it work in the Plus network? :)

btw. to exclude damage to the sim card, checked on two different ones that work in other phones.

Have you tried to upload another one? or, for example, the original one that was? refreshing the software sometimes helps, but it can also do harm. Did you backup the old one before uploading the new one?

Yes, I tried another, on the internet I was able to find versions of S5610XXKH9_OXAKHA - 08.2011, apart from the one I mentioned in the 1st post. It behaves the same on both versions.
Unfortunately, I didn't make any backups, in principle, I didn't even know how, I changed the software according to some instruction found on the electrode.

The card was removed during the flash?

Perhaps these softs do not support the plus network. And you can manually search for a network and turn it on?

Hmm ... so it remains for me to look for some more software. It will be difficult because I have seen that these two are probably the most common on the Internet. I downloaded them from some hamster, and the files had a 5/5 rating and a lot of positive comments.
I also tried to manually select the network. The case is that with the Plus card inserted, it finds me several networks, say Plus, Play, T-Mobile. There is a red crossed circle next to each, except for Plus, the icon of the plus network is the antenna itself. But when I want to select it, I get the message "not allowed".

So the Plus network does not support this software. Maybe try to choose a different network, e.g. Play. Temporary option. Now, most networks lease their platforms to others. It's best to ask on a website, I think that uploading the software on this phone oscillates around PLN 30-50. Or just report a crash to Plus that the phone has lost coverage, not to mention flashing :P and not to admit anything. :) In this situation, you have to combine, because without a service flash it will probably be hard. And there is no need to be influenced by free hamster soft products, as most of them are remade. You can still borrow a phone from your friends and rip the original soft. But it's also hard to find a service program.

Hmm ... Thanks for the answer, it remains for me to look for some soft products, I just uploaded a third (different) and nothing helped. Selecting a different network manually does not work unfortunately. When it comes to uploading the software on the site, this phone costs PLN 50 on the Allegro, and my model is in practically perfect condition when it comes to the housing and battery, so it would be cheaper to make a spacer, besides, it had problems with turning off before, so they will fix me connecting to the network does not have to mean that it will stop turning off, he has been with it once before and they did nothing, so I decided to upload another software without a brand.
Interestingly, when I insert the play card, there is a white screen for approx. 2 seconds and the word "sending ..." with the plus card is not there. As for the plus service, it is unlikely to pass because my attempts to reset the IMEI so you can see that there was something combined with the soft. As I said, I will try to look for some other software, if anyone else has experience with a problem similar to mine, please write ;)

Yes, but before there were only zeros, the problem with the network on the Plus card also occurred. I thought that maybe together with the soft (unbranded) the simlock was set in a magical way, that's why I entered the code to download the simlock and thus reset the IMEI.

Upload a new firmware box and fix the imei. If, after such a repair, it still does not work on the plus card, I bet on hardware damage.

Hello, I have the same problem. Samsung S5610 from the orange network came to me for a simlock, I read the codes using ns-pro. Unlocked works in all networks except plus. When searching for a network manually, everything is the same as above at my friend's. I will only add that when I installed a plus card for it for the first time, the range and the plus sign appeared for 2 seconds, and then only a magnifier in the range and nothing more. I loaded the plus software with their settings but it didn't help either.

Try to repair with a z3x box.

I do not have this box, but I did not change anything in imei, I just did get info in ns-pro and I entered the code manually into the phone after the appearance of the appropriate window on a foreign sim card.

If you have hwk, you can try it. Read the forum, there are a few topics on similar topics.

If you have imei zero it will only work play. So fix the imei first.

Is there any option without a box? I can't find anything on the internet where a usb cable is enough, you need a box everywhere, I don't have one; (
@toon when imei was not zeros it was exactly the same - plus did not work, moreover, a colleague there wrote above that he did not change imei and also him plus does not work.

btw. and just like a colleague @ waldek.sz21 he wrote, I also noticed once for a second or two that he found a plus network, then there was a magnifying glass in the place of the range indicator.

You can't do thread without a box. As I wrote above, if the box repair does not do anything, then hardware damage. In these models, often the sim sockets were damaged and maybe this is the problem.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Samsung S5610 phone that lost network connectivity after flashing unbranded software. The user initially had a branded version from Orange and switched to S5610XXLF4_XEO, but the device fails to connect to the Plus network, showing a magnifying glass instead of the signal icon. Other SIM cards, like Play, work fine. Suggestions include trying different firmware versions, manually searching for networks, and the possibility that the unbranded software does not support the Plus network. Users also mention the need to fix the IMEI if it shows zeros, as this could restrict network access. Some recommend using specialized tools like a Z3X box for repairs, while others note potential hardware issues with the SIM socket.
