    Hello.

    I have a question.

    Now I have radio internet connected to one tplink router with wifi enabled and I have a second tplink router on which I set up a wifi bridge with the first one. On the first router I had to enter the mac address of the second router to make it go.
    I change the internet (I give up radio because it works poorly) to LTE. For now, I have a Huawei 5577 LTE router (or very similar, I do not have a model at hand now, but probably very similar.) As I have not seen the mac address to enter at the bridge in the settings, I have a question whether the bridge can be set up with this modem, as there is no this option, is this option just additional security in the tplink router?

    Overall, I would like to do this:
    LTE + WiFi modem

    Something like that. Alternatively, I am considering the situation that both routers will be connected to the LTE modem (i.e. there would be 2 arrows to the modem) but I will have a problem with the location of the modem (somewhere between 2 routers) because the modem has a much smaller range than routers.

    Bridge over WIFI or cable? there is no problem with the cable any router with any router, with wifi much more difficult.

    After the cable, I would not even ask, but first of all, the LTE modem does not have an ethernet socket, and I have no chance to pull the cable between the routers (not my apartment, I will not drag the cable around my apartment by drilling in the walls, especially since I will be moving in a few months).

    And what if the LTE modem does not support WDS, it is only possible to replace the modem, or buy a USB modem and connect it to one of the routers?

    You can connect to the WIFI point (AP) by methods
    - WDS (bridge), requires WDS at the WIFI point
    - WISP (NAT)
    - AP client (almost bridge)

    Thanks for the info. I messed around a bit and came up with a new solution. The question is whether it is right and whether it is possible
    The modem has something like HiLink (the modem model is E5377s-32). I read somewhere that you can connect it via USB to the router and then the router has internet from it (just like from a USB modem). You just need to change the software to Gargoyle. The router that Gargoyle is on and I have it is WR841N.
    Will it work and is it easy to fire up (i.e. I download Gargoyle from the net, put it on the router, connect the modem and it works?)
    Does every version of Gargoyle have HiLink support? Do you need to upload the appropriate version (1.8 is probably stable and 1.9 is experimental).

    My modem doesn't have WDS so that's out of the question
    As far as I know my router has no WISP or AP client.
    Will Gargoyle make a difference here, or are these features hardware, not software?

    All these two-bridge WiFi ideas are asking for trouble, I know from experience that it cannot work without problems. It was a mistake to choose MiFi instead of a stationary LTE router. Just out of curiosity, what is this mobile operator, such as technology, speed? Pre-paid or subscription offer?

    Play operator, LTE, the speed is about 20-30 MBIT. Pre-paid offer. I bought a Mifi because I wanted something to go abroad. I move out during the summer and I hope that in my new apartment I will have a decent cable internet, now it is impossible (only the radio) and I want to solve it somehow without additional costs (buying a router for PLN 200 probably does not make sense). In the worst case, the set-top boxes will be on the routers without Internet access and everything else will be connected to the LTE modem, I will only move it somewhere so that the coverage is from anywhere in the house. But it is known that it would be easier to connect the modem to at least one router.

    So I buy this WT3020F router, connect my modem to it via usb and from this WT3020F on wifi and ethernet I have internet, to this WT3020F I can connect the WR841N router with a bridge?

    That would take care of all my problems.
    Please confirm that I will have a plan to solve it.

    WT3020F requires FW to be changed to OpenWRT, LEDE. The seller offers help on this topic. after changing the FW should handle the E5573. You can use WR-841 with alternative FW for wireless bridge. You need to check which version of this router you have and upload the appropriate FW. Eg Gargoyle and configure a wireless bridge with WT3020.
