    Hello,

maybe some of you had a similar problem and know how to solve it.
Volvo usually jerks when braking at about 40km / h. Sometimes a jerk occurs when accelerating. This is a single jerk.
Error code P0896 - "Switching time too long"
    Mileage 200,000km
Please let me know what could be the reason for this behavior and how to solve this problem.

    Regards

The reason is a valve plate, to be regenerated or replaced with a new one.

Thanks for the reply, could you say something more about it? What is the approximate cost of one option and the other. How complicated the operation is. I assume that regeneration is cheaper - maybe you have knowledge if it is worth regenerating - does the problem return after a while?

Do you perform such repairs / regenerations? Do you need a car or can you ship somehow?

    Thanks for the answer. Regards

I do not regenerate valve plates, I send to a factory that, after cleaning and replacing the solenoid valves on a special device, calibrates the solenoid valves. New plate already calibrated approx. 4000 PLN. regenerated 50% of its cost. You must have a toy car to replace the plate, you do not need to disassemble the box. http://www.valvebodypros.com/tf80sc.html

Hello, the gearbox is similar to the vc af40 all elements are replaced from the new insignia gearbox,
The valve body with insignia differs with the seals of the plate, different markings, it is so.
    I suspect other pressures.
Can I set it up? how will I send it somewhere?
the second option is to replace the valves to the old controller on a still non-skid 2-3 3-4.
