Hello, I recently bought a Chinese quad 200 cm3 Chinese with a mileage of 1000km, unfortunately it does not enter full speed or keep low speed. When adding gas to the max, it does not screw in, it can reach 50-60% of turnover, after releasing the gas it keeps a higher speed then drops to equal low speed and after a few seconds the engine goes out. While holding the maximum speed I turned on the suction and screwed nicely for a while and then goes off. The carburetor was cleaned, I tried to set the mixture but there is almost no reaction, the adjustment of the needle also does not improve the engine operation. Valves set, inlet 0.10, outlet 0.15. The candle has black carbon during every inspection. Quad has a conical filter on, I don't have the original fluff. Chinese soils I suspect too much that valve seals have gone. And here is my question, can all this uneven engine operation be caused by these sealants? Nothing else comes to my mind, possibly rings. The carburettor inlet to the cylinder is sealed. Thanks in advance for your help.

Buddy, as it is with the "Chinese", it is widely known, you also do not know how the predecessor operated the vehicle. You claim that you have inspected the carburettor and that the nozzles and channels have been cleared and that the carburettor has been assembled correctly. Check the pressure in the cylinder, you did not specify the color of excessive smoke, so it is difficult to determine if the carburetor is properly adjusted (adjustment on a warm engine). If the engine oil runs out and smokes blue, then you need renovation. Install the right air filter, because the conical one does not meet the requirements, especially on off-roads, in dust, etc. You can change the ignition module and spark plug, dedicated to your engine, to the test.

The carburetor is properly assembled and unobstructed, it sounds like a simson on arrival, in a garage for 4 cars it can not withstand a minute, gray smoke. I will measure the pressure in a few days when I find time off. I haven't driven enough yet to find large defects, besides, the engine is wet from below, the previous owner said that he was replacing the gears because it broke in oil. I will try to buy a new candle when I get home.

Candle bought new and no difference, cylinder removed and unfortunately has scratches, small but has, I ordered a new cylinder, piston etc. and a set of seals for the entire engine. In a week we will see what will happen.

If it is in the inlet, everything is tight and there is no reaction to any carburetor adjustments, I bet that it is damaged and if the replacement given above does not help, there is rather a problem in the carburetor.

Then it will be known that it is a carburetor. The carburetor was cleaned 4 times that week, so made in china matters.
