Under "Mouse and other pointing devices" there is only HID compatible mouse, there is no Touchpad and nothing is lit in yellow.

Do you have a USB mouse connected? If not, this HID is a touchpad.

Does the laptop have any buttons to enable the touchpad?

I have a mouse connected to the USB and the button to turn on the touchpad is not visible here
