    Hello.

I bought the geforce gtx 1060 6gb card from MSI 2 days ago in apricots. One of the windmills starts up at random time and turns the other one like a vacuum cleaner. The MSI app shows 0 movement on windmills, temperature around 50 degrees. If I lightly move my finger a second non-spinning fan, it turns up nicely. At this moment two are spinning and then stop. Everything has returned to normal since then. Temperature 61 degrees, two fans quietly start spinning, cool the card to 55 degrees and turn it off again and again. (story :) as it should be) Until the problem returns again and for no reason suddenly only one starts spinning again, while mercilessly making noise: /. Searching through information forums, people with this problem sending cards to websites receive the answer that the fault was not found or repaired and the problem keeps coming back. I thought to just give the card back to 14 days and buy another one. And here is the problem, what card to choose or how to solve the situation? I have a motherboard from MSI tomahawk Z270, apparently under the motherboard the 1060 card from Gigabyte falls off because they work together on average.

    Hello
MSI have good cards, it is nice to solve, e.g. cooling the memory on the card and cooling the MSI 1060 card itself. The MSI GTX 1060 card has semi passive cooling, i.e. after exceeding a certain temperature value, the card fans start to rotate by themselves, preventing the card from overheating. You've obviously found a flimsy copy or tested and checked by the seller and pushed to the customer. :D DD
I would check the GTX 1060 card and how to turn on the fans after exceeding the temperature, how they start and at what temperature (from 45 to 50 and from 55C after exceeding to 60C) you can observe in the program FurMark and using monitoring MSI Afterburner .

    - at a temperature exceeding 60C the fans should run at ~ 50%
    - at a temperature up to 50C for ~ 30% -40%

The FurMark program presented above is being tested by loading the graphics card at 99% here you need to pay attention to the temperature, so as not to damage the card, requires efficient cooling !!!! The program has a bookmark GPU Shark , i.e. card temperature monitoring and fan speed in% and RPM.
FurMark is a program for checking temperature and testing after replacing paste and fans up to 5-10min max.

Cards, e.g. XFX on models RX 470/480 they have XFX Hard Swap Fans only the fan replaced, not all cooling. XFX page and card preview XFX RADEON RX 480 GTR 8GB [RX-480P8DFA6]

I understand that you would advise to give it back and take the same again counting on the faulty art?
