In the car, as in the subject, the low beam does not work.

https://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/topic2057046.html I haven't checked this issue yet, but I will do it right after returning home from work. Anyone else have any suggestions or advice? Thank you in advance for all your help

The voltage comes out of the switch, but there are no fuses. After feeding + 12V for a short time the fuse lights up. Is this not the fault of the combined switch?

There the lights are switched on by the bordnetz module, the one under the steering wheel.

So is it not that the control goes through a combination switch in the steering wheel ?? Because I don't have short long ones, the rest works including the lamp height control. I can only turn on this momentary glow of long.

I think the switch on the steering wheel will actually be damaged. There is voltage on the black and white wire after turning the light switch. However, there is no voltage on the yellow-green or white-green wire (as I give the voltage on these two wires, the lights are on).

The power supply for the dipped beam switch is after the load relief relay when starting. In a 17-pin block with a pin 1 switch, a red-black wire

Jacek didn't understand me a bit. I mean if he understands well the fact that the white and black wire comes from the dipped beam switch and there is switching between yellow green and white green for short / long lights

So it's not what I think. I need to check if I have power on the T41a / 39 red wire

there is voltage there, so a 99.9% switch. Crap expensive business, and the car year 2012

The switch under the steering wheel changes the road supply without ignition from a permanent plus, e.g. to flash or after ignition from the light switch when the low beam is switched on. The low beam are powered directly from the switch, does the ignition on the low beam turn on power for pins 4 and 7 (yellow green)?

from the dipped beam switch voltage goes to the black and white wire (pin4) lights high current circuit (I think so) and white (pin 11) after + 12V on this wire the indicator on the meter lights

In this case, this is not the pattern, changes in installation are sometimes twice a year. There was also an option with relays. Do you know the production date, what lamps? I will look on Monday.

    Do you have H4 headlights?

    Yes, I have such headlights.

    Added after 12 [minutes]:

I agree. There are tensions on red and white and black, and they don't go white green and yellow green.

Turn on the lights, bridge the piece of wire on the steering wheel switch between white black and white green, then yellow green. You will skip the switch. The lamps will light, you already know what is broken. We will not light looking in the switch on the board. Although you wrote that you have voltage on black and white and checked with a meter, you can have a drop under load.

Bridges I have already done everything is ok I will check white and black under load. I will temporarily put on the relay parallel to the combined switch with the connection after turning on the long one. I will leave it even after replacing the combined switch. The new one will be less burdened.

Problem solved, damaged combination switch on the steering wheel. I temporarily put on two relays. The first switches on the dipped headlights after turning them on using the switch, the second turns off the first relay when the long lights are turned on. Everything works as it should. The only drawback is the lack of constant long lights, only a short backlight works.

    siemanko :)

I hook up to the topic because I also did not have the dipped beam in Fabia II from 2013.

Of course, I started reading in various forums which can be the reason. And so in turn:

    1. Blown fuses - this is where the basis begins. Nos. 57 and 58 - right bottom in the box on the left side of the steering wheel.
    2. Comfort module - no crap Fabia comfort module only Bordnetz controller.
    3. Light relay - also a linden because there is no relay from the passing lights as it is from the road.
    4. Light switch - this may be the reason.

Ad points 1 and 4 - if the fuses are OK and the switch is safe (e.g. from another car borrowed) then do not combine anything like a horse uphill, just replace the combined switch and now.

It helped me and I replaced new fuses, light switch and BCM module. Only the replacement of the so-called "horns" had the desired effect ;)

It is so for posterity that will get them darkness in Fabiance II :D |

    Greetings 4-All :)

    Hello everyone.
For a week I noticed (Fabia 2 - 2011 - H4 lamps) that with the low beam (short) lights, everything works as it should, but when the high beam (high beam) is turned on, only the long front and rear lamps are on, the counter and the entire interior lighting disappear - night falls.
Please help me what could be.
    Thank you and best regards.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 2012 Skoda Fabia II experiencing issues with the low beam headlights not functioning. Initial troubleshooting revealed voltage at the switch but no power reaching the low beam circuit. Participants suggested that the problem could stem from the combined switch located on the steering wheel, as well as the Bordnetz module, which controls the lighting system. Various tests indicated that while some wires showed voltage, others did not, leading to the conclusion that the combined switch was likely faulty. A temporary solution involved using relays to bypass the switch, allowing the low beams to operate correctly. Additional insights included checking fuses and the comfort module, with one user noting that replacing the combined switch resolved their similar issue.
