Hello, tab does not work for me, but the backlight works normally, the pushbutton normally presses, everything is on blue unionbests, can it be repaired somehow? If not, what alternative to alt + tab do you recommend that tab not be needed? greetings
Yes and no. Hykker X Range are mechanical keyboards i.e. non-membrane constructions. The mechanism after removing the button in Hykker X Range looks like this Until then, there should be no disassembly problem. "Stairs" can be with further demolition! The reason is probably the lack of contact (seen in the photo above) on the contacts or somewhere from them (circuit board, paths, etc.). I suggest : 1. If it's under warranty, take it. 2. If not or for other reasons there is no possibility of a complaint, you can undress it and get only to this key. COMMENTS: a) the contact structure and the key structure itself may be different, b) if a colleague does not feel the "topic" it is better to let go or ask a friend who is more familiar with it, c) I do not take responsibility as when disassembling a colleague will damage something e.g. mechanically - it is clear but !!! d) the above pictures are from the pages of: http://www.spidersweb.pl/2016/11/hykker-x-range-recenzja.html http://www.spidersweb.pl/2015/03/jaka-klawiatura.html
I opened it, squeezed something there, and if I pressed it very hard until it pressed down, then tab. But these are blue switches so it should turn on much faster. What can I do with this?
Dear friend: First, read a friend understand understanding post No. 2? Secondly

I hugged something there
It is worth to describe more precisely what was done, for example, if a different liquid was used than for cleaning the contacts, the final effect of such "pissing" may be different!

I suggest : 1. Read post # 2 and do what I wrote. 2. Take accurate-sharp photos of the dismantled key and throw it here. 3. Check under high magnification (x 8 or more) the whole button structure (what you see) and from the printing side if anything is cracked, cold soldering etc. 4. Disassemble the housing of the button as much as possible to reach the contacts - it cannot always be done because they can be in an undamountable housing at the factory. However, knowing Poles (and not only) you can disassemble even non-dismantled devices 5. Write exactly what has been done. Good luck
It's probably a common problem with this keyboard. Today, after 8 months of use, the TAB key fell to me despite the fact that it is not commonly pressed. Like all clicks, it lights up. However, it cannot be extinguished or ignited in the backlight programming mode so it is definitely a hardware problem. Has anyone tried to fix this system, I do not have tools on hand so I will be looking in there in a week or so.
Today I dismantled this system. So the button is not to blame for anything - rather ROHS standards and smd assembly method - the smd element just peeled off badly soldered firmly by the soldering machine. And that it may have a bad support here, it can be the result of, for example, pressing the keys harder It was enough to solder the element and it's ok
Hello. I had the same problem. It turned out that one element in place of the TAB button is not soldered. I also stopped working the Q button but after a quick soldering fix it all started working. greetings
The discussion revolves around a malfunctioning Tab key on the Hykker X Range mechanical keyboard, which still has a functioning backlight. Users suggest that the issue may stem from a lack of contact on the circuit board or poorly soldered components. Recommendations include checking for warranty options, disassembling the keyboard to inspect and potentially resolder the contacts, and using alternative key combinations if repair is not feasible. Several users report similar issues, indicating it may be a common problem with this keyboard model, and some have successfully resolved it through soldering fixes.
