    Good morning,

I have +/- 100k zlotys to spend on a family car, which will make driving fun and the costs of repairs / maintenance will not depress me. That is why I am looking for a car not older than 5 years old, with an engine of not less than 2000 and a large trunk :)
No french people! No, no and not again! I will use the car for about 3 years (leasing).
    75% city, 25% route

I was thinking about these cars:
    - Audi A6 C7 Avant 2012-
    - Ford Mondeo MK5
    - Mazda 6 III

Of course, I am open to other suggestions.

I absolutely don't know about cars, I don't know which engine is 'better' or less emergency in a given model. I'm 'afraid' of downsizing. It can be diesel.
That is why I am asking you for help.
    Thank you.

I would go down a bit, I do not want to offend but ... the holidays of permanent cars are over, certainly VW / Audi is not as strong as 20 years ago.
Hence, the car's durability is not determined by the age whether the car is 5 years old or 10 or 15 years old, but rather the model, engine.

Audi A6 C7 has terrible gasoline and diesel is not for you.
Isn't it better to go in a BMW 5? e.g. 530i E61? unless too strong?

Just take into account the costs of audi or BMW are premium brands there is nothing cheap there is not Golf IV.

Mazda 6 ok, I would highly recommend 2.0 Skyactive

Mondeo cool but the cheapest of these two and not so troublesome to maintain, although Mazda is also not tragic.

    Mondeo mk4 2.0 ecoboost

The problem is that Audi is BMW, Mercedes, Lexus ...
like Ford is Volkswagen, Opel, maybe Toyota etc ...
this is what it looks like, i.e. these premium brands will be the oldest, the most expensive to maintain and generally expensive, the cheaper ones more accessible.

As for me, look for only gasoline, because 75% of the city is rather poor for diesel, especially modern with dpf, dual mass, modern injection, etc.

At a price of around 114,000 PLN, you have a NEW (2016) Toyota Avensis Touring Sports, 2.0 Valvematic (152 HP) CVT petrol, with Premium + Style + Executive + Park Prestige + Park equipment. More pricelist etc. here.

A car with a naturally aspirated engine, not a mower + turbine engine, i.e. a Mazda 6 III estate

Fiat freemont (dodge journey) with 3.6 + LPG, 280HP under the hood in the vending machine - perfect for the city (if not for the dimensions of the car ...). Fuel costs like diesel and 10 x fewer problems.
Honda accord diesel or gasoline - one of the best engines on the market for years.
    J. w. Mondeo eco boost.
Generally, if you want the car not to spill, you have to take it with larger bikes every now and then.

    Here I support a friend.

New German cars have long lost their reputation in the 90-2010 years

I wonder how many friends james888 has discounts on OC, because with engines over 2.5 liters there will be a nice amount ;-)

That's right, but it won't be crazy. Hold for 2-3 years until the end of the warranty and for sale, because fear that it will travel is 100kkm.
Personally, I would choose a 2-3 year old car with a good reputation, checked for several years, it will not be as big a drop in value as in the new one, but it is not my money, but Col. james888
