I want to make a regulated 0-30V power supply with a current limitation of 0-10A, only the limiter should not disconnect the circuit after exceeding the specified current value, only to signal (the diode lights up). I searched but found nothing with a limiter for such a current. Does anyone have a diagram?

It's a simple matter as long as there is a solid fan.
    Heatsink temperature controlled.
The charger itself must be well cooled.

What do you recommend these transistors?
    2N3055 are enough?

Topic summary

A user seeks a diagram for a regulated power supply capable of outputting 0-30V and 0-10A, with a current limiter that signals overload without disconnecting the circuit. Responses include links to diagrams and assembly guides, with suggestions for cooling and component upgrades. One user mentions using executive transistors to increase current capacity to 30A, while another warns that the user may lack the necessary knowledge for such a project and recommends starting with simpler power supplies. The discussion highlights the importance of selecting appropriate components, such as transistors, for high-current applications.
