Did you run the installer with administrator rights?

If it's a clone (if I can see correctly) and an installation from a local disk, it is possible that the antivirus messed up with you and it won't work either.

You have to push it to C :? Drop it on D :. or another partition and after the problem. I have experienced such a problem myself many times and installing on another partition solved the problem, and now I do not have this problem at all, because I stopped installing anything on C: except drivers and updates, because it is unnecessary to clutter the system partition. If you have a laptop with a preinstalled system and you do not have another partition, you can rent one in a few to several dozen minutes (depending on the size) using Easus partition master without damaging Windows and recovery. You just have to do it wisely. :) I did this myself with my laptop and the guy got hit with the support, because I complained about the guy that he misled me, because they claimed that when I create a new partition, the recovery will fall, and not fall. :)

Unfortunately, even if you install the program on a different partition, some files are still copied to the C drive. Look at what directory the installer wants to save the files to, this is the system directory, hidden. Even if you want to install the program on a different partition, these files will still be copied to a directory on your system drive.

The problem is clearly the lack of write permission in the selected directory.

In the case of this program it is like Artur k. Writes. They are even more important than the rest (activation)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues encountered during the installation of a Delphi program, specifically a persistent message pop-up preventing completion. Suggestions include running the installer with administrator rights, checking for antivirus interference, and ensuring the installation is not on the C: drive. Users recommend installing on a different partition to avoid system directory conflicts, as some files may still be copied to the C drive, leading to permission issues. The importance of proper directory permissions and activation files is also highlighted.
