    Hello,
I have a problem with connecting the fog lamps. Well, in the set I received a slightly different instruction than on the manufacturer's website, the module is a universal module Starc 399017.
    The instruction I received:
Octavia II - problem with the assembly of the towbar harness - fog

Octavia II - problem with the assembly of the towbar harness - fog

    Instructions on the website:
    http://www.starc-automotive.com/files/starc/u...bersicht/Produkt-Liste_A3_06_Englisch_web.pdf

And now I do not know how to attach the fog lamps, In my case the fog lamps are together with the position light on the same bulb.

I would be grateful for your help because I am completely stupid. It's about the difference in points 3 and 11-12

Connect the gray one from the module to the fog lamp in the lamp and do not cut anything (the module recognizes voltage, position about 3V, fog light 12V !. The fog light is controlled by pulses from the switch (you turn it on on the car and trailer or on the trailer itself).

    Added after 16 [minutes]:

You can connect positional also to these small bulbs in the rear lamp there is only 12V

Thanks for your help, I just have a question. Because I have 2 cables from the module for fog lamps.
Gray - the symbol of the switch, i.e. control, and Gray - white - the symbol of the fog light bulb.

So if I switched the positions to this "other" bulb, I should connect the gray cable to the position / fog lamp? So what about the gray and white cable? Unless it is the gray option that is the control, and the gray and white option is always the trailer and the car on?

    greetings

I connected this module several times and always the gray link to the fog one (cutting the wire and connecting the gray and gray-white ones to the diagram, respectively, did not have any effect). Switch control: 1 turn on - the effect will light up on the car and trailer, 2 turn off - it will go out on the car - it lights up on the trailer, 3 turn on - it lights up on the car and trailer, 4 turn off - it will go out on the car and trailer.
    greetings
    Paul.

So gray - white is left unconnected? Thanks a lot for help on Saturday I struggled with it and it was not effective. Do you think that you can connect the power supply plus under the fuse box under the driver's knees to one of the thicker wires?

Forget gray and white! If it is a station wagon, you can supply it from the cigarette lighter (trunk, right side), if not the station wagon, then the fuse box is thicker red.

And there are no puzzles with support for reversing sensors? I unplug the ground from the reversing sensors from the sensor control unit and connect the cable from the control unit that supports the hook.
