    Hello,
The wipers in another car work (I changed the engine to a different skoda and it comes)
I checked if the motor on the plug has power and signal.
there is a constant mass and one constant plus 12.5V, on the other + shows me a voltage of 10.5V but constantly !?
    1) Should this signal not change depending on the position of the wiper switch on the steering wheel?
Checked VCDS and shift lever show exact position
    2) The mask closing sensor works that when the mask is closed, the diode indicating the mask has opened.
    3) I have replaced the comfort module - the car has no ordinary wiper relay?
    4) Windshield washers are working and the rear wiper works flawlessly.

    Best regards and thank you.

You measured the voltage with a cube meter. Measure some light bulb

good good, there is only power and LIN. probably LIN transceiver in the engine or in Bordnetz.

Will it crash a master-> slave communication error?
However, since it has 10.5V, it would come out that the controller receives a static bus signal.

I had the same case yesterday. All voltages including signal were OK. There was a voltage problem when the controller attempted to start the engine. The voltage dropped and caused a communication error.
The reason was a frayed cable in the bundle passing next to the right rear corner of the battery base. Vibrations and time have done their job. The remaining patina was conducting something, so the idle tensions were OK. Skoda Octavia II 2 - Front wipers not working, Washers approx.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Skoda Octavia II 2 experiencing issues with its front wipers, despite the windshield washers and rear wiper functioning correctly. The user has verified power and signal at the wiper motor, noting a constant voltage of 12.5V and an unusual 10.5V signal. Questions arise regarding the expected variability of the signal based on the wiper switch position and the role of the comfort module, as the vehicle lacks a traditional wiper relay. Responses suggest checking for potential communication errors, voltage drops due to frayed cables, and the importance of measuring voltage with a light bulb for accuracy.
