    Hello,
I have the following problem. I have mobile internet from a modem connected to a desktop computer with Windows 7 and I wanted to use it to provide an internet connection via WiFi ad hoc network and a laptop with Windows 10 does not want to connect to this network and I have no idea why.
The settings are all ok, because the devices with Android (phone, tablet) and test laptop with Windows 7 connect without a problem and work in them net, while on the phones after sharing this program mHotspot only, because on the computer with Windows 7 and mHotspot and with ordinary ad hoc that the phone cannot see at all. In contrast, Win 10 sees everything in every version, but every time it crashes the message that it can't get the connection. Restarting the network card and cleaning through
    ipconfig / release
    ipconfig / renew
nothing helped. WiFi works in itself, because the hotspot provided on the phone flashes without a problem - this computer has a clear problem with my ad hoc network.
I have already run out of ideas - maybe you know something I don't know and somewhere you should put something else (some firewalls, unblocking ad hoc in the system settings or something). Help!!

Have you checked on different encryption settings?

Somewhere in the Microsoft forum I found info that it is a DHCP issue in Windows 10 alone, but they only recommended restarting the computer and possibly the network card, as Microsoft's help

I don't know, I tried all the options, I looked through a few forums, nothing comes out. I still have an Eth router - maybe I'll share it with a router somehow? Need a regular or crossover cable? And can it be done at all?

It works, you had to manually set the IP, gateways etc., but it flashes - and I will never know what was wrong .... Anyway, I close the topic.
