I warmly welcome. I have a mower with an SV 150 engine. For some time I have a problem, because the mower does not want to run - no spark. How can I check if the ignition coil is working? (the candle is new)

Basically, there is no reliable coil test at home. In the past - with contact ignition systems - the resistance could be measured and compared with the reference one which was given by the manufacturers (eg Tecumseh).
At home, it is necessary to check one by one: a candle, a candle pipe (if it is dismountable), an ignition switch cable and its attachment to the coil and the circuit breaker itself and its possible massaging. Sometimes the cable from the switch will fall, and sometimes it is enough to pull the cable that activates the switch and the brake. Keep trying. If these checks have no effect, the coil will remain in place.

You need to check this coil after it has been mounted in the engine and problems arise. Because it is physically difficult. Much easier on the table. It should also be taken into account that such devices may show signs of damage only under operating conditions. So the coil in the test is good and not in normal operation.
The easiest way to check the coil is:
    We mount to the engine
Do not fasten the wire from extinguishing
A good pipe candle and its thread to the mass of the engine and pull the starter cord.
    It's work for 2 people.
It has to give Icing. If not, check the pipe, the coil wire and the candles.
It may happen that the coil has got moisture and will give it only after drying but that's just guesses.
Check the equipment as described above and let me know what and how.
A friend of Czyżycki is right about the home thorough checking. Even with knowledge in the head and equipment on the table, it is sometimes difficult to show unambiguous damage.

The candle is brand new, I changed the pipe. I've done before as you wrote and sparks are still missing.
So, apparently, I have to buy a new coil. Thanks for the help!
