    Hello,

After the last storm my network card refused to obey :(

    Consequently, I had 2 ideas:

    1) reactivate the card again (realtek RTL8111E card integrated on GA-970A-D3 board)
after oe downloading the latest drivers and trying to update, he gets the message:

Realtek RTL8111E Network Card Not Detected by Windows 10 & HP J2585B NIC Driver Search

in the control panel, my list of network adapters is as follows:
Realtek RTL8111E Network Card Not Detected by Windows 10 & HP J2585B NIC Driver Search

    - After connecting the cable, the diode shines with a steady green light
    - The router cannot see the connection (i.e. the LED on the router is not lit)
    - ipconfig / all returns blank information
    - does not reach the router through the browser - no connection

I lost all hope of recovering this network card ...

    2)
Pulled an old HP J2585B NIC and almost a success
i.e. the router immediately detected the cable connection, the network card is blinking green but I cannot search for drivers for Win10 anywhere
There is no website on HP, the first 5 I downloaded (which had googling help) don't work

Do you have any "ideas" how to get the first one on your feet or run 2?
I do not hide that an ambitious task and I want to fight a bit ... before I am forced to buy another network card :(

Welcome. You won't get the first one after the storm. Check on the motherboard if this chip has no visible damage, burns, or if it does not heat up to redness - sometimes this is how the life of these systems ends.

As for your card, if I can see correctly, it is a card from the last century - on an HP branded processor. Enter the ID of this card, although I think it may not be possible to find the drivers.

The most sensible solution, if you cannot choose drivers for the HP card under Win 10, will be to buy another card supported by W10 for pennies.

ID of this card? - It tells me a little: / - where to look?

Alternative, do you think the following proposal is OK?

    bb39-ethernet-usb-10-100-mbps-lan-network-card

Will I find drivers for 10 wines for something like this - from what I can see, what name is it and I'm also starting to worry ...

Don't buy any USB crap - buy a normal PCI or PCI Express network card, for example TP-Link TG-3468 - this is Realtek Gigabit based card, works on everything from Windows XP upwards.

Thanks, I bought a new PCI card (edimax for PLN 12) - default drivers, everything works
