You can know why you decide to buy a new card?

If the card used will be much cheaper, the shipping costs will compensate for the difference in price between the new and used. So I don't see the point in buying a card that is often used without warranty. Well, unless used used would be personal collection. Ot the whole philosophy.

I once bought a SpeedLink Stage 7.1 sound card, Logitech X-620 6.1 speakers, I'm happy and it's been a few years, but you won't get a new one, I found something like this at alledrog:

    SPEEDLINK SOUND CARD SL-8861-SRD

    link

Price: PLN 37 + shipment from PLN 8.60

As for drivers, if you have 7/8 wines then 10 will work for 99%, that's how it is with me, you have a manager and rudders. I can see on the producer's website that there are win8 rudders for this card so there should be no problem.

    Greetings

They suit me, but I won't cut my hand or it will be the same for you. I was more worried if the manager would move, but he went off the shot. As for me, the rudders should work and if, for example, the manager does not start, you can control the settings from under the system, but you can not have all the settings.

I meant rather what caused that you decide to buy a new one. Is it broken? Integra not working? Are you looking for better sound? Do you want 7.1?

Drivers from 8 are compatible with 10 in most cases.

I think, like a humbel, that he should fly.

For me, the reason for buying a new card was the integrated realteka sound card. When I was still an avid player of Battledield 3 it caused the computer to freeze only with this game, somewhere on the forum I read about this problem and even played moments with the BIOS disabled.
Later I bought a USB sound for testing, it did the trick. I wanted the sound to be better and I didn't have to switch cards manually so I bought a second SpeedLink and it's still good with 10 wines.

Today, on another set I was putting the winde 10, some VIA chipset with the sound card still on the old AC'97 hehe win 10 installed the rudder and the manager myself, I think it's good because all the options available, icons without exclamation marks or crossings, but not anymore I connected the speakers because I was in a hurry.

Why i search Well, because in one of the hosts "someone" simply bent the plates inside the mini-jack socket. Hell, they know how to get it right now so as not to break it down. That's why I decided that it would be easier to spend about PLN 50 on another (weaker) music card, but by the way do not spoil the motherboard to the rest.
I was also thinking about USB cards, but I'm afraid that they will just buzz in the background.

aha. one of the attempts to "fix" the situation was to connect to the pins from the front panel of the audio cable from the DVD-RW drive. And the front of the headphones. It works. But unfortunately buzzing in the background - probably a matter of grounding.

For now, I will probably solder to the cable instead of the mini-jack socket and connect all this to the pins on the motherboard from the front panel. If it buzzs, I will buy one of the cards I mentioned or users in the replies.

I came up with another idea :)

In the sound card manager you can often change the position of the speakers, if you do not use surround sound then you can move the front speakers to the back and physically connect the front to the rear speakers socket, no cost :)

You can also buy an audio / usb front panel if you have an additional output on the motherboard to the panel and plug it in, most motherboards have this option.

I have already written about hooking up the front panel pins - it works.
About changing speaker settings - I checked it some time ago, but I will check it again today.
For this idea, the idea "if you do not use surround sound then you can move the front speakers to the back and physically connect the front to the rear speakers socket" is new to me. I'll try to experiment tonight.
