Hello. I have a question if the sound card (USB) is enough for me to talk to my friends on skype or while playing CS. You can give me some budget cards, that's 20 zlotys
Will break because my jacks are broken.

There is no point in spending PLN 20 on such equipment, because it is simply not good for anything.

The minimum is about PLN 100-150, for example [Sound Blaster X-Fi Go!]

And is it possible to replace the jack somehow

I also had the same problem, because the jack inputs on the front of the housing broke down and I bought a USB sound card for a few zlotys on the Allegro, used it for 5 minutes and threw it into the trash :D I bought an extension of the jack cable and plugged it to the back of the housing to a free input and set the socket to the headphone jack in Realtek and everything worked. There are audio panels on the Allegro, but I do not know if you have a place in the housing and a socket on the board (by the way, give the board model).

This additional front panel is probably the best solution in this budget. Check if the housing has a place in the 5.25 bay (the same as for a DVD drive), there are other types of panels, but they are already more expensive (about PLN 100) and it is not profitable to buy them because we can get a new housing for much more.

And you can replace Jac won't it be a cheaper option?

In my opinion, the author of the topic is not an audiophile and does not need sound cards for PLN 150, but only a functional mini-jack, the more that he will play CS or talk to his friends.

As for replacing only the mini-jack socket. If you have something like this Link then you can try to unsolder the jack socket and look for such a socket on the internet (eg. Link ). In my opinion, this panel is a better solution, it costs PLN 5 more, but all you have to do is insert it into the housing and connect it to the motherboard

@ krysiu811 But the author probably lost the music card, changing the mini-jack input will do nothing if there is a hardware damage.

Best as it would be AlbertHD42 he finally wrote what he broke and what he wants to achieve, because the chaotic questions and answers so far do not contribute anything and you do not know what's going on.

And I'm sorry, my mistake has not been read. I thought that the author had sockets only on the front panel, so I suggested replacing it.

When I connect, for example, a jack microphone does not see it for me, it applies to the front and back

The same thing happens after plugging in headphones / speakers? Do you have sound drivers, if so, what are they?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the need for a USB sound card suitable for Skype and gaming, particularly under a budget of 20 zlotys. Users express skepticism about the quality of sound cards in this price range, suggesting that spending at least 100-150 zlotys is more reasonable for decent performance. Alternatives such as replacing broken jacks or using an internal sound card like the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy FX or Asus Xonar DG are recommended for better sound quality. Some users suggest using an additional front panel for audio connections if the existing ports are malfunctioning. The conversation highlights the importance of functional audio solutions for casual gaming and communication without requiring high-end audio fidelity.
