    Hello everyone,

I know this is a topic on many forums, but I have not found a solution to the problem. Initially, the phone began displaying from time to time the message SIM card was removed, with time it happened more often, until he read it only once in a while. Despite this, I used it to use wifi or listen to music. In the meantime I bought a used card reader, but nothing helped. Later I bought a second new original, but after a few days the problem returned and the phone could not read the sim. He often had one that he saw alternately once a memory card and once a sim, both rarely at once. It recently turned off and refused to turn on anymore, nothing helped, it was impossible even to enter recovery mode. So it was decided to buy the motherboard. Today came, the translation went smoothly, but she cannot see the SIM card. He reads the memory card, I don't know what to do next. I tested both today and in the past on the plus card and two virgine mobile, which work fine on other phones. Tomorrow I will buy a starter from play or orange, but I doubt that he would suddenly start reading it.

Thank you in advance for any tips.

Either you have a damaged disc or a reader in this "new" disc.

The reader is almost new, so rather efficient, while the disc comes from disassembly and in theory everything should be functional. But it varies with it. In another topic, it was suggested that it was the NFC chip, and therefore part of the motherboard.

If you have the chance to return this CD, please return it.

On my S4 i9505 stock 4.4.2 yesterday when writing a post in the net appeared information as in the subject, no sim card, and that you need to restart the device, after restart, no sim card, I took out the sim card and inserted it again, it works. This is the first time I have such a message.

A typical fault with these discs. NFC reflow if it doesn't work then you have broken modem connections. Once I got mad and fixed myself. I unsoldered the modem with new balls and it sped but a lot of work with glue.

The motherboard is functional, because when I plug in the SIM reader and hold it with my finger, the sim reads, unfortunately after taking my finger the message "SIM card removed". I have 4 readers and 2 of them work, but they are without this adhesive film, is it possible to buy and stick it? Yesterday I received another ordered reader, but I wanted to save and ordered one of the cheapest and the card does not snap in it, which is a slight movement also causes a message to appear.

    So the motherboard?

ps. Is it the motherboard's fault because I don't know whether to send it back in such a case?
