    Hello
I am new to the forum and I have a problem with mine
Lagoon. I start the car, turn on the climate and work the tongues that should be cold, they get cold immediately, but after a minute they are already lukewarm. The climate is okay when driving. When the engine is warmed up and the fan turns on to cool the engine, the tongues become cold again, but when the fan is turned off, they become lukewarm again. The air conditioning was not packed today. The compressor turns on as it cools as it circulates air. To my problem with switching on the fan to the air conditioning only the question how to check it ... Laguna is after lifetime 2007

After switching on the air conditioner, the radiator fan starts on the first gear?

It just doesn't start. Klima switches on a moment later it cools noticeably less until the fan is turned on by a warm engine. In short, for me there is no first gear fan which is used mainly by the climate. I do not know myself too much, but I think it may be a minor fault and I would like to look for myself if possible. But I don't know what to catch.

On the frame of the windmill you have a first gear resistor, unplug the plug and connect the pins with a thick cable, if the windmill starts with the climate, you have a problem with the resistor (the thermostat burns out soonest)

Tomorrow morning I will check, and in total what the task of this resistor is, I ask out of curiosity because I thought that turning on the fan is responsible for the pressure sensor in the air cooler

The sensor turns on and the resistor causes this 1 gear in a nutshell

So I was done as you ordered and after turning on the air conditioner the fan started immediately. Only now the question is whether he should not turn off after a while. Because he walked a minute and then I turned off the car so that something did not happen. I don't know myself so I don't risk it. I would not like to mention it without necessity

It has to walk all the time when the air conditioning is on

So surely this resistor for replacement?

Post 3 and 7 you write something different so decide.

What is a colleague about because I do not understand ... As otherwise he writes. I wrote that the fan started working after I connected the cables so I ask if replacement of the resistor will certainly help or something else can be.

Problem solved, resistor actually blown. Thanks for the help

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around an issue with the air conditioning system in a Laguna 2, where the AC cools effectively while driving but becomes lukewarm when the car is stationary. The user notes that the radiator fan does not activate when the AC is turned on, leading to insufficient cooling. Responses suggest checking the first gear resistor of the fan, which may be faulty. After testing, the user confirms that the fan operates when the resistor is bypassed, indicating that the resistor was indeed blown and needed replacement, resolving the cooling issue.
