As for the Pioneer, a- I think it is overrated and hence holds the price (inadequate to the possibilities) I have had several models from both Pioneer and JVC and the latter offers the same or similar functions and sound quality for less money. On the aforementioned website, take a look at the JVC models from the KW-AVX series, there are some of them at nice prices.
