    Good day.

I have a problem with a toshiba 1TB external drive. The disk is connected via (probably an external controller) USB 3.0 to SATA II + IDE. The computer cannot see the disk in "devices and disks" but is visible in computer management / disk management. On the factory controller it is not even visible in disk management. In disk management, the disk has no drive letter assigned and after pressing PPM, only the "delete volume" and help are available in the menu. There is a lot of data on the disk that I would like to recover. Is there any possibility and if so, what program. Please help

PS My friend's work disc, so I don't really know what was done with him.

Try on a better cable. I have an old toshiba 320 usb and the computer sees it as it pleases. Sometimes after the third call.

I don't know this program. What would I check and how?

As for the cable, it was checked on two different cables on 4 computers. Each time the same effect

    Provide SMART disk.
In DMDE you have to show if it detects any content.

Maybe it needs extra power? You write USB 3.0 to SATA II + IDE.
That would mean that this is not an external drive, just a normal one connected with an adapter and then you need a power supply.

Use DMDE - there are a lot of posts on the Forum discussing what and how.
