Hello, I have such a problem in the Kii Ceed 1.6 CRDi 116HP, well, after starting the engine, the water filter in the fuel filter lights up for about +10 seconds, sometimes it blinks when driving. The water was drained several times and the effects were lacking, after changing the filter it was the same. After some time, the check engine jumped out, the car lost power and spins to max 3 thousand revs. after extinguishing the car the error was lost, but after a while it lit up again and it was just like before, that the next day there was no error and it is not there yet, but I went to computer diagnostics and showed a sensor error in the fuel filter and no other errors it was, the mechanic suggested to buy a new sensor because it could be damaged. How can I check if my sensor is OK? Try to drain the water again? Will you buy a new sensor right away ??
ps. I also have Hyundai santa fe cm 2.2 CRDi 155 km and the water sensor in the fuel filter looks identical, can it be changed?
