    Hello all,

I am very sorry for writing without Polish letters, but this is how I set up the company equipment. Corrected after Admin intervention)

I have a question for you related to the home network in a large house, how should I approach this topic so as to have the best coverage and high speed of data transfer. Maybe I'll give some data
    - the house is wired and all cables exit in the basement server room
    - the cable from the internet provider comes out in the server room
    - all rooms have power outlets
    - the house has two floors and basements
    - total area of 450m2
the current configuration is a modem and router from the operator connected in the server room, wiring distributed through the switch
The WiFi access point is in the basement and extended to the whole house through old WiFi routers
TV, Playstation, X box etc. devices connected by cables
The status of the WiFi network is far from satisfactory, the phone or tablet while moving around the house holds the last amplifier until the network disappears and does not allow proper use of the network.
Do you have any good solution for WiFi network? Should I connect the amplifiers by cable or should they be connected to the WiFi access point? What equipment do you recommend? I will add that the internet has a fixed IP address.

    greetings
    Paul

Define this extension. If they are repeaters, this is done incorrectly. Cable from the switch to many access points, working just like access points and not as repeaters. Repeater is evil. He does not strengthen anything but receives and transmits. As what it gives is already weak, it will be a bowel according to the saying that from empty and salomon does not pour.

I can't say on which channels it works, but it is not new equipment, so rather 2.4GHz max, I can check the full settings when I'm at home, but in about 2 weeks.

These are old routers set as gates and strengthening the WiFi signal from the WiFi router in the server room. They are not connected to the LAN.
