My dacia is slowly approaching the course of 4,000 km. Now the question is to change the oil or wait for the planned exchange after a year or 15 thousand km?
There is nothing on the subject in the book, but the website recommends exchange, but you know why $$$.
The engine is a Nissan unit

And what is written in the instruction manual. In my opinion, exchange oil after 4,000 is nonsense.

In my name I exchanged after 1000 km of purchase, so-called zero review. The service did not push, they just said that there is a recommendation, and what I will do with it is my business. PLN 300 + another 180 for oil was not a high price compared to the cost of the entire car.

I guess it is not strange that those who live and exchanges will recommend exchanges every month. Do not be surprised, do not listen to the advice from the mangle. You have the manufacturer's documents and a certain DTC that are related to the warranty. The concept of reaching the car ceased to function thirty years back.

But Nissan and Renault are one family in business so everything is possible.

In addition to the theme - the 1.6 (k4M or K7M) engine is Renault, not Nissan. As for the exchange of oil, as you write above, you do every year or every 15 thousand.

From 2016 in lodgy / dokker they assemble 1.6 H4M engines, so I think it is a construction engine from Nissan.

replace it will not hurt. The cost is small but calm ... invaluable. once the producers recommended replacing the first 1000-1500km because there are "post-production" filings in the oil. Now it's better and more accurate, but ... there's always something in oil. Anyway - you do not need to look at the manufacturer's recommendations - there is no interest for the cars not to break down. A lot of manufacturers recommends replacing every 30kkm and there are a lot of different ones (eg renault in a 1.5dc engine - after 100-150kkm the acetules are peeling).

While the original oils are pouring nothing is happening, worse when we buy fake or wrong.
Or, even worse, we go for half-boules and 2km for ladybirds.

Change and further exchanges do every 10-12 thousand. Buy oil in 1L bottles, top shelf filters.

A little more discussion and it will turn out that it's best to exchange oil every day. Even when you do not start the engine. Of course you will learn that it will not hurt. So maybe it also will not hurt to replace the car (for maintenance-free). And the car manufacturer is very much interested in a good opinion about the product. If this is not the case, the producer exposes himself to the costs of changes.
Buying oil in 1 liter of packaging for exchange is another valuable idea.

If you want to change every 30 I know it ends. With 1L packaging you can let go as you have a 100% reliable source.

The first one can be true for high-performance cars, and the second is for seasonal use. For an ordinary passenger car, in addition to a completely civil power unit, it is enough once a year or every 10-15 thousand kilometers. More often it's probably exaggeration and an excess of caution.

People ... I bought 4 years ago dokker 1.6 8v after 1000km I changed his oil, silently at home. What happened on the engine was pitch with filings! As in a 30letbim wreck! New oil and change every 15 thousand. I already have more than 100kkm and before the exchange the oil is always clean! The cost of an elfa 4litre is PLN 120 for me, works for 15 minutes ... Exchange or not? Ehh .... And then they do trash because it's fallen ...

Did you buy the same filter as the original filter that you did not know? How is the warranty how will we do some service in the Dealership?

Service work, i.e. replacement of fluids and consumables, does not affect the warranty. Filter ... Mann, knecht, meyle. Oil, if not mobil or castrol from allegro for a few zeta. GM is quite cheap and does not really want to counterfeit it. I would exchange it after one thousand or two. And later, of course, according to his own concept, ie he had a ninth once a year or 15 thousand trip.

You can do such things alone silently between the survey values set by the manufacturer. If you do not do a review by manufacturer's recommendations, i.e. specification of oils, frequency of changing filters, etc. in the workshop, you can say goodbye to the warranty - item 4 of the general warranty conditions

I bought the same filter - I have a store with parts .. for the filter wages PLN 12 in the ASO delete 40 ... oil by Specification with ELF and that's it. Traces have not been, besides, the belt is already guaranteed, almost 100kkm and while the pads in the front of the car are out of the car and it's a company car (as we know the best off-road is every company ...) guys her scorch for driving on customers, I was even in Paris ;-) (I do not recommend this route ... 14h with gas in the floor and at the maximum speed ...)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around whether to change the oil in a Dacia vehicle with a 1.6 engine at 4,000 km or wait until the recommended interval of one year or 15,000 km. Opinions vary, with some users advocating for early oil changes due to potential contaminants from manufacturing, while others argue that following the manufacturer's guidelines is sufficient. The engine is identified as a Renault unit, with some confusion regarding its Nissan origins. Users emphasize the importance of using quality oil and filters to maintain engine health, suggesting that regular changes every 10,000 to 15,000 km are advisable for optimal performance.
