The description of the auction looks like this:
"...
New, reinforced audio cable 2x mini-jack 4-pin. The cable is used to connect, for example, a telephone with home cinema or car radio via a mini-jack connector. The cable allows you to send audio signal in analog stereo format and mono signal from the microphone via a 4-pin connector. High durability, solid workmanship!
... "
The cord has no braid. After removing the insulation, there are only three copper veins covered with enamel, one of which has an additional fiber (I assume that this is a reinforcement). Besides, as I wrote, on the S segment there is no transition between the plugs (I checked by measuring the resistance with the multimeter). It looks as if these 4-pin plugs were used only for compatibility with a 4-pin socket, and in fact the microphone track in this cable does not exist. In total, you can use this cable to connect your phone to the AUX input to send an audio-stereo signal and it will work. I do not know if the specification of such an input at all includes a microphone signal. I am not a specialist in this type of connections. Maybe the seller just does not know what he sells, but I'm surprised that people buy it and nobody noticed it before. On another auction, someone sells an identical wire with the same description. Maybe people only use it for audio and do not bother anyone that there is no microphone track. I asked here because I thought maybe there is something I do not know about the construction of such a link. For example, in power networks there are three-wire transmission lines, in which there are only three phases, and there is no neutral, but here probably is just a false 4-pin connector and an incorrect description of the auction. Or maybe someone has an idea?
