I am looking for an angle grinder for home use, i.e. to renovate something, cut it without haste, with emphasis on comfort and safety. I am looking for a neat angle with one-hand operation and at the moment I have three types:
    1. Makita GA5030
    2. Bosch GWS 7-125
    3. Bosch GWS 850
Makita came first because of the many favorable opinions and the price, followed by Bosch 7-125 with slightly worse opinions (more expensive service) and for the same price. Third place is stronger Bosch with a higher price and I don't know if it's as handy as the previous two.
I am asking for a hint what else could be taken into account, how do you compare to the three above mentioned, is the order on the list right?

Of the ones you gave Bosch GWS 850, Makita GA5030 as the most good choice, I worked and both of which makita is better in the palm of your hand. But also if you want something up to PLN 300, then Stanley No-Volt 850W FME822K, DeWalt DWE4157 900W and something cheaper Black + Decker KG1202K.

Roxio, thank you for the hints and I posted two of them on the list. I omitted the B&D KG1202K because its weight is 2.7 kg, and that's how much it seems too much for a handy angle. Unfortunately, there are few opinions about the equipment that you provided, but maybe someone else will comment on them, and maybe something else will suggest. I added Bosch GWS 750-125 to the list, although I did not find any opinions about it, and the list was supplemented with several data and approximate (from one website) prices for comparison.

Place Manufacturer and model Power (W) Weight (kg) Circumference (mm) Length (mm) Price (PLN)
    1. Makita GA5030 (R) 720 1.8 183 266 209
    2. Bosch GWS 7-125 720 1.9 176 318 (?) 208
    3. Bosch GWS 750-125 750 1.8 bd 270 234
    4. Bosch GWS 850CE 850 1.9 bd 263 250
    5. DeWALT DWE4157 900 2.05 bd 270 275
    6. STANLEY FME822K + trunk 850 2.3 bd bd 282

As you can see, not all data succeededI search, but maybe someone who has the above-mentioned angles will speak and jointly manage to complete the table and maybe change the order in it, because I'm starting to have doubts whether I have chosen it correctly. At the length of Bosch GWS 7-125 I put a question mark, because somehow this length sticks out from the others, although I took it from the Bosch catalog and I ask for verification.

For one-hand operation see a Chinese with obi - CMI, there is probably no smaller grinder, I have 3 years at work, I would not exchange it for anything else and only cost PLN 80 :-)

As above, the basis is not to be too heavy and thick - it must lie in its paw.
Recently, I only buy macalists at this price, there is nothing better - they last a year and a half - and they are not saved.

Exactly, though the durability and comfort of work (runout / vibration, ergonomics and a light switch) also matter. I have recently used MACAllister, and since I had to grind the plates at an angle of 45 degrees, I find that this angle is not handy, its weight is 2.8 kg, the coarse switch and it is difficult to consider it as one-handed.

Mychaj, in OBI the only CMI 125mm I found was C-WIS-900/125.
    It looks like this:
Comparing Makita GA5030, Bosch GWS 7-125
Its weight is 2.2 kg but the length due to the construction is up to 430mm and I do not think that it can be counted as handy.

Place Manufacturer and model Power (W) Weight (kg) Circumference (mm) Length (mm) Price (PLN)
    ... MacAllister MSAG850-125 850 2.8 212 292 118
    ... CMI C-WIS-900/125 900 2.2 bd 430 100

Returning to the topic, I would like to ask users who have had contact with the Makita GA5030 grinder produced in Japan and Romania, is there a noticeable difference in the quality of workmanship, possibly in tool life?
From what I was able to read in all forums are Bosch products, they have significantly deteriorated in quality and is Makita also?

In the meantime, I supplemented the table with new models and data, and again a request for users to assess whether the ranking I create reflects the actual state. possibly what to change in it? And maybe it will help someone in choosing.

Place Manufacturer and model Power (W) Weight (kg) Circumference (mm) Length (mm) Price (PLN) Additionally
    1 Makita GA5030R 720 1.80 183 266 209
    2 Bosch GWS 7-125 720 1.90 176 280 208
    3 Metabo W750-125 750 1,80 180 274 228
    4 Bosch GWS 750-125 750 1,80 195 270 234
    5 Bosch GWS 850CE 850 1,90 190 263 250 r.obrotów
    6 Metabo W850-125 850 2,00 190 274 250
    7 MILWAUKE AG800-125EK 800 2,00 197 255 275
    8 DeWALT DWE4157 900 2,05 195 270 275
    9 Makita 9558 HNR 840 2,10 bd 271 227
    10 STANLEY FME822K 850 2.30 bd bd 282 trunk

There is also a second list of angle grinders that I watched and which I did not include in the ranking. Perhaps there is a model on this list that deserves interest and which I wrongly missed.
    Random order on the list:

I have Makitka of Romanian production and I do not complain, I use it for over a year (cutting cobblestones, curbs, tiles, grinding and cutting steel) and the grinder works great. I think it's hard to find something better at this price. Light, handy, it fits well in my hand - I am very happy with it.

I also recommend makita good equipment, I work a lot with it, but recently I bought a metabo, it has a smaller body, which is why it is better to use it with one hand and it is a bit quieter, very good equipment.

    Darek4168 have you bought a Metabo W750-125?
The table shows that the circumference of the handle is 3mm smaller than the Makita and the better lying in the hand is noticeable?

Yes, 750W-125, circuit only 3mm smaller?, I thought it was more, out of curiosity until I measure.

Measure, please and correct it in the statement if necessary. Everyone measures differently, and the dimensions I asked the sellers and there may be differences.

I have been in contact with this Makita, I have had it for several pretty years, I don't even know if it wasn't 8 or longer and after 7 years I changed the transmission. The grinder was soooo hard and yet it lasted 7 years so nothing to recommend. I cut various metals with it, including lead, concrete, tiles, wood, thick sheets (up to 20 mm), sometimes the engine almost stopped. At the same time, it is very comfortable and handy, without unnecessary frills and inexpensive. As for home use, this is the best choice.

You can provide the results of measurements, because the statement shows that Metabo has a circumference of 180 mm, and Makita 183 mm.
