I warmly welcome. I have a question: did any of you have any problems with the Kiano SlimStick microcomputer? I mean, is it possible to set the device to turn itself on after applying power? I once watched a review and heard that such an option is available in Bios.
I am asking because I would like to use such a device in my car. Connect them to the touch screen and power supply from the charger to the phone and do so that after turning the key the device turns on automatically.

I have this minicomputer for some time and I can confirm that it is possible. This is set in the BIOS in the power options. However, I see a different problem here, or even a few. 1. KIANO has its own power supply in the microUSB standard, 5V 2A and I'm not sure if the telephone charger will work with it, especially since the instruction clearly prohibits the use of power supplies other than dedicated ones 2. The issue of cooperation with a touch screen would require organoleptic examination, in addition to HDMI you will need USB . 3. Automatic switching on when the ignition is switched on can be problematic if the car has a power cut when turning the starter. . The same when switching off the engine, each time you will have to close KIANO first, or the system will crash very quickly. KIANO Slimstick has no power backup. Support for Windows 10 on a relatively small display while driving is another story.
